The maids don't do their job properly. The staff is wonderful. The location is just great and the price is right.

The location is nice, with many historical attractions nearby, such as the Ghetto Heroes Monument and Schindler’s Factory.
We were only able to check in at exactly 2:00 p.m., even though we had asked in advance if an earlier check-in would be possible. At the same time, check-out is very early at 10:00 a.m.
The male receptionist was arrogant and rude. Our room was damp and smelled musty. If you took a shower in the evening, the bathroom floor was still wet the next morning. The damp smell also clung to our clothes, making everything smell like a basement. Paper bags, clothes, and even the furniture felt damp and had a musty odor.
The room was on the ground/basement level (level 0). It was spacious and had access to a small inner courtyard, which was pleasant in itself. However, the courtyard was untidy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.
The breakfast was decent, and the food in the hotel restaurant was good. We ordered sparkling wine to start, but one glass contained noticeably less than the other.
I would not recommend this hotel, despite its excellent location. The area was pleasant and much less crowded with tourists than other parts of the city.

Xerion Hotel Review
The Xerion Hotel is a modern and quiet hotel located in between Krakow's City Centre and the garden areas of the city. Most of the main attractions in Krakow are walkable- there are plenty of museums, restaurants, parks and public transport areas near the hotel.
I stayed in the small room- which did not offer a window to look outdoors but it was well ventilated and clean. The air conditioning at times was scheduled to only work minimally at times, which was a slight inconvenience during the hot summer days. In addition, the TV was quite difficult to navigate though I rarely used it. The pillows were not what I was used to but the bed, bathroom and living space was comfortable.
The hotel does not have a main lobby but there are several seats and tables in the restaurant that can be used throughout the day. The wifi was excellent and fast too. The restaurant itself offers breakfast which offered basic foods and drinks, enough to satisfy requirements. To those who didn't book breakfast as part of their hotel package, or to those who aren't even guests- the hotel still serves you at a price. As well as breakfast, the hotel serves food and drinks from 3-10pm. There is variety in the menu and the food is excellent.
Hotel staff at the front desk and at the restaurants are helpful. They speak and understand English really well and use friendly language.
Overall the Xerion Hotel is a great place to stay in Krakow mainly due to it's location. With some improvements, it could be a better hotel. It is not a grand hotel but its perfect for those who mainly wish to sleep, eat breakfast and use the internet at the establishment whilst dedicating the majority of the time to sightsee and dine outside the hotel.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast & nice staff
Nice hotel and would recommend. It’s placed in a nice street, on a one way road that appears to be residential too. Thanks to all hotel staff for a lovely stay, especially Michael, he is a credit to Laris hotels.
We received Excellent customer service from Michael, very knowledgeable and helpful.
Plenty of choice for breakfast. We used Bolt taxis and the tram a lot to get around.

Definitely not 4 star
I have just come back, overall ok stay, definitely not a 4 star, I would give it low 3 star
I was located in a room in the glass courtyard area, the room was ok, spacious but decor was poor, carpet needs a good clean. I also purchased a drink from the bar the first night and the empty glass was left outside the room for 4 days! The cleaning of the room was terrible, the bin wasn’t emptied and the carpet was filthy throughout our stay, you were unable to walk barefoot. The court yard lights up then opening any door which meant the light was continuously on and off during the night when people were coming and going, the curtains are not dark enough and the room was flooded with light every time the yard lights came on. Location was good, I liked being out of the hustle and bustle, breakfast was also ok
