A gem in San Isidro
This is my third stay at the Sonesta in Lima. I stayed 10 dias at this hotel. Location! Location! The hotel faces a park (El Olivar) in a quiet place of San Isidro, walking distance ( 2 blocks to Conquistadores) to good restaurants, cafes and bakeries. 15' ride or 5 miles ($7 Uber) ride to noisy Miraflores with more restaurants to explore. Rooms are comfortable, soft beds and AC that works!. The daily breakfast at the restaurant is fenomenal wiht different choices everyday, fresh everything. Excellent value for the money. Above all, the customer services is unbeatable. From the moment you arrive, it is all about you! The entire hotel staff was very attentive, Milagros at the front desk went out of her way to help me extend my stay from 5 to 10 days when the hotel was fully booked for an international soccer tournament. Jorge at the restaurant, accomodated my dietary breakfast restrictions. What makes this hotel special is their people. Will go back next time I stay in Lima, Peru!

Same great service!!
I have lost count on how many reviews I’ve written on this place. Just goes to show how often I stay here! Everything is just on point! Service, food, room service, bla bla bla! It’s always the consistency - it never wavers. Enough from me, you will not be disappointed if you haven’t stayed here.

51st HS reunion and stayed at the Sonesta El Olivar in San Isidro
Location: great location close to many restaurants and places to visit yet tucked in so quiet and relaxing
Atmosphere: calm, welcoming
Rooms: plenty of space and quiet floors, room as clean.
Value: worth what I pay, very reasonable.
Service: extremely friendly staff ready to accommodate any needs you may have. Ask for Ronald, Lisandro or Manuel in the restaurant, they are amazing! And ask for Sandro if you want a tour plan or directions! He is phenomenal.
Amenities: great wifi, plenty of tv options, plenty of towels, there is a pool to sit around and read overlooks the area.

A week with family in the best area of Lima.
The location of the hotel is strategic in the best area of Lima. We traveled with a baby and they prepared the room with a crib; all the staff provided us with impeccable service and we felt maximum comfort. The food in the restaurant is of high quality. All the service provided was unbeatable.
