Wonderful accomodation in a quiet environment

We stayed here for two weeks in the "olive house" and liked it a lot. Furnished well and with much love. But the best is the quiet environment in a garden. At night, you can sit under the stars and drink your souma. Irini and Jim are very friendly. You need a car to go around.

Beautiful memories at the Bird’s House

Irene and Jim are both very welcoming and generous persons. From day one they made us feel very comfortable with our staying at the Bird’s house. We visited Paros with our two dogs and the environment was perfect for all 4 of us! The decoration at the house is great and in addition the facilities and amenities are all well preserved! Looking forward going back again

Beautiful views from super accommodation

We have just returned from a family holiday in two of Irini and Jim's lovely cottages. My wife and I had the Bird House and our daughter, her husband and young son had Olive House. Both houses are beautifully decorated and have everything for a very comfortable stay. The surrounding gardens are lovely and we had all our meals outside looking towards the wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and the blue sea in the distance. Irini and Jim are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them, Irini had shopped for us because our visit coincided with the closure of the supermarket over Easter weekend. And on our departure she had baked us a delicious banana cake for our journey home. Jim worked with our daughter, her husband and son to produce some lovely mosaics formed from pebbles we had collected from one of the Paros beaches.
We have had a perfect family holiday and would recommend Jim and Irini's cottages to anyone who wants a beautifully peaceful holiday in gorgeous surroundings.

Idyllic!

We stayed at the wonderful To the Garden for 4 weeks in November. It’s an enchanting place, up a valley with a view to the sea. The sunsets over the island of Antiparos were stunning. Our cottage was delightful, a unique creation built and decorated by the wonderful Jim and Irini. Each cottage also offers a garden ensuring peace and privacy. Stone walls and olive trees abound, and goat bells ring across the valley most mornings. We hired a rental car which was handy for groceries but walked a lot too: down to Aliki the nearby village by the sea, along valleys and up into the hills. Life was more traditional here with villagers still growing olives, pomegranates, lemons, oranges and figs and there is a monastery higher up the valley. It felt as though we were transported back to a simpler time and that Zeus or a nymph could appear in a glade. If you are seeking somewhere authentic and away from the hordes this is perfect. It was so wonderful it was a wrench for us to leave. Already I am dreaming of how I can return to To the Garden. Thank you Irini and Jim!

Perfect Haven

This is a wonderful place for a holiday. Irini and Jim couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, gave us clear directions, met us in the nearby village to guide us up to the property, stocked the kitchen before we arrived and we even got to try some of Irini's home baking. Everything we needed was there and the houses and garden had obviously been created with care and creativity. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the view towards Antiparos, wildlife spotting in the garden and making friends with their pets. Aliki is a few minutes drive away and has shops, including a fab bakery, cafes and beaches. It's best to have transport to get around as the property is on a hillside above the village of Kamari, a little off the beaten track. We hired a car for the week and used it every day to explore different parts of the island.
