Everything about this hotel experience was wonderful! Pablo and the staff all bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is the Real Deal! It is the way it is advertised. Definitely, great value for the money. We will back!

Absolutely wonderful!

So pleased we found this beautiful hotel for the last few days of our stay in Uruguay, it was definitely the best! Pablo is a warm and thoughtful owner and his team are charming, always providing excellent service. We could see the sea through the trees from our room, it is a lovely setting about ten minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops of La Barra.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, nice linens, great shower. Delicious breakfast served in a very pleasant dining room.
The pool and garden are perfect for relaxing, both immaculate and peaceful. We would love to return!

The hotel is an oasis with understated elegance, comfort and surroundings. The decor is subtle and tasteful, breakfast room and service outstanding. The staff extend themselves to be helpful and welcoming. We spent an entire day on the grounds lounging and reading.

This is the most amazing hotel I’ve been to. Just the nicest, most accommodating hosts and employees. Truly a 10/10 experience!

My husband and I wrapped up our vacation in La Barra, and Kala Hotel was absolutely perfect. It was within walking distance to the beach, offering the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, and we were well taken care of by the pool with refreshing wine and snacks. We also took their bikes to ride to José Ignacio, though in the heat, it wasn’t the most comfortable choice. Still, a memorable trip!
