Great place!!
Love this place. We have been staying here for about 4 yrs in a row. The breakfast staff are very friendly, and breakfast is good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and grounds were well maintained. The rooms have a window air conditioner that blows right at the head of one of the beds, but overall, very good quality for the price.

Would stay here again
Check in was fast and seamless. Every employee we encounter was very kind and very friendly. The place is very clean. It could use updating but really it’s not a big deal for the rate we got in the Service and the free bottle of waters and the breakfast. We were very happy with our stay they will give you two bottles of water upon check-in. Perhaps every day I’m not sure the pool and the hot tub are open until 11 PM which was very welcomed after a long day of exploring and at the parks. The location is very close to the entrance to Cedar point breakfast consisted of pretty basic stuff, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, and a self-serve pancake machine. The atmosphere was quiet. The noise level was quiet now mind you we were there at the end of August, so the kids are in school. We liked our king room. We thought it was very spacious. The atmosphere is pretty chill. We would stay again.

Great value!
This independent motel is a gem…nicely landscaped, safe, comfortable, clean, great prices, picnic tables, swings, good pool with water slides and hot tub, nice variety for breakfast, friendly, close to Cedar Point….we were pleasantly surprised and will visit again!!!! Thank you!

Fun, quirky inn near Cedar Point
My family of 4 (including 2 tweens) stayed here for 4 days during a trip to Cedar Point. It was a bit run-down compared to the brand-new, expensive indoor water park next door, but we had a great experience.
We stayed in a family suite, with 2 beds, 2 TVs, a couch, and a Murphy bed (which my kids thought was the coolest thing ever). The minifridge and microwave came in very handy. The hotel also has a coin-op washer and dryer on-site, which also came in handy.
Parking could be tight, especially if you got in late, but we usually managed to find a spot near our room. I didn't use the pool (which had a few slides and a hot tub) but my kids loved it. So did a lot of other families. Fortunately, they hotel enforced the 11:00pm pool curfew.
Breakfast ended by 10:00 am, which was good if you were headed to the park, not so much if you had other plans (or the park was closed due to weather). It featured pancakes, boiled eggs, and surprisingly good coffee.
The location is great. Cedar Point is about a 10-minute drive away. There's not much within walking distance besides a Dairy Queen, McDonalds, and Dollar General. Shopping is about a 10-minute drive in a different direction. The area gets a lot of train traffic.
The staff were helpful and efficient. If I ever go to back to Cedar Point, I will be staying at the South Shore Inn.
