WARNING! Do not stay here if you plan to touch sheets or shower
I have stayed here many times throughout the years as a halfway point during our travels and have never had a problem. We stayed here last weekend, along with many other firefighters who were in the area battling a local wildfire.
After our stay, a $109 charge appeared on our card, so I called to find out why. They emailed me the pictures below and said the charge was for “soiled” linens.
We had been out helping a friend who needed to evacuate because of the fire, so yes, we had some dust on us. But this was not excessive dirt. I don’t wear makeup, and these marks were not wine, ink, or anything similar.
When I called back after seeing the pictures, the woman at the front desk, Karen, repeatedly talked over me and firmly stated that the charge would not be reversed.
Keep in mind, these pictures were taken before the linens were even washed. When I asked whether they had pictures showing that these light marks did not come clean after washing, they did not.
I also requested that the actual linens shown in the pictures be sent to us, since a $109 charge is more than enough to replace the items, not simply clean them. I asked multiple times, and I was repeatedly talked over instead of being given an answer.
This entire experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering we have stayed here many times without issue.
Clearly, we will not be staying here again. I sincerely hope that all of the firefighters who are risking their lives to protect people, homes, land, and property during these fires are not being treated this same way

Water pressure in the room is just ok and hot water ran out a couple times.
Pillows and bedding was very comfortable, but beds have spring mattresses that made our backs sore by morning.
Pool was frigid, so cold that it hurt your skin. Also, it seemed over-chlorinated. They're also still renovating, although it seems to be nearing completion.
The luggage cart is desperately in need of a good cleaning.
Good view of mountains from the room.
It's definitely an ok hotel, but not sure if we'd stay again.
