Loved my one night stay here. Perfect for a solo traveller as right in the city centre and so walkable to everything. Staff were very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast includes cereal, pastries and fruit. The nice guy behind the bar offered to make me toast also. You can choose to get hot food if you prefer. Room was perfect and had all the channels. Could even sign into your Netflix account. Only issue was my room was right by the busy street and above the bar so it was extremely noisy all night as I stayed on a weekend. One other issue was there was a piece of carpet missing in the room by the window so I stood on a nail in my bare feet. Other than that I had an excellent time.

Great staff but room was lacking some basics

I had a mixed experience during my one night stay.
On the plus side, the staff were great - really friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was one of the best I have had - really tasty greek yoghurt and fresh fruit, as well as toast and preserves. The location is also good for access to the city centre, particularly the Merchant City area.
However, the room I stayed in (no. 4) lacked some basics:
*The shower was faulty - lots of water coming out of the base of the hose at the taps. I did manage to shower but it needs fixing/replacing. Mentioned to staff when I checked out.
*Lack of plug sockets - one double socket for everything. I looked to use sockets behind the bedside tables but they were old-fashioned round pin sockets so couldn't use those.
*Also no mirror in bedroom, which makes it hard to know what you're doing when drying hair, etc. I managed to buy a small one in Poundstore on Argyle Street. Plenty of mirrors in bathroom but obviously no sockets in there.
*Not thoroughly cleaned before I arrived as long hairs in bathroom - I have short hair.
*Room could do with a bit of a revamp as bit tired-looking.
I recommend earplugs as it is only single glazing, and the area is popular in the evening/nights.
Given the issues above I don't think the price was good value for mid-week stay.

Room was comfortable and had everything you could need. All the staff, reception, bar and breakfast were absolutely superb. Rab Ha's has lots going for it but its staff, and how they interact with a guest, is excellent.

lovely room and staff, bar downstairs great too. Noisy outside overnight but a result of the location. Will stay again
