High quality and excellent service

I had a very nice stay at Scandic Hotel in Kiruna. The room was clean comfortable and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a great selection. The hotel enjoys a great location in the center. I am very satisfied with my stay and recommend the hotel to other travelers.

Price pretty overrated

Above 2 m they forgot to clean, pre-ordered breakfast is for all guests. Even for them who never eat breakfast. Our returned luggage was near the desk without supervision and without knowing who the owners were.

Budget experience. 4 star prices. Avoid.

This is a budget hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. If you want early check in you have to pay more which is called a “service” despite you already having paid for the room for the night!?! Oh and if you want your room serviced you have to ask.
Add to that a breakfast buffet that has been value engineered within an inch of its life and a sky bar with one person working in it where you have to clear the tables yourself and you do start to wonder why you bothered paying anything to stay here!

Nice hotel, but lack maintenance and good service.

Nice and new hotel, but unfortunately bears the mark of wear and lack of maintenance. The game/playroom consisted of destroyed darts and pool tables. The staff does not seem so interested in the guests. The breakfast seemed chaotic in the middle of July at 09:00, when there was a lack of food and difficulty finding a table.

Family trip

A super nice hotel with great coziness factor!
However, we experienced the staff in the restaurant as uninterested and “tired”. I waited for a while without getting service. Had to find the staff / head waiter inside the restaurant to get a table.
Breakfast was CHAOS! Sooo many people and queue for everything. Several parts of the breakfast were finished and you had to wait for a lot.
One tip is that guests, as at many other Scandic hotels, can book their "breakfast time". This is to even out the number of guests eating at the same place.
