The overview of my experience at the summit

Hands down an amazing experience. The staff is so kind and always super helpful. They got us transport from the hotel and even gave us a number to call to get a ride back to the hotel. This was especially helpful since the hotel is located in somewhat of a hard to get to area with very steep and narrow roads leading to it.
The food is to die for. I think we basically went through the entire menu and out of the 4 days we only had one meal outside the hotel. The steak was especially amazing. And the Kiri bath was my partners favourite as well. They also cleaned the bed and room everytime we stepped out and we always came to a fresh room after our hikes and walks about town. Can't express how much I appreciate that.
I heard they just upgraded the WiFi to starlink and I think that was a game changer for times we stayed in.
All in all an amazing experience and the views are so pristine. The best part all the rooms have the same view so there's no chance of getting a bad room.

A view from the top

At The Summit, you’re immersed in a tranquil environment away from the busy pace of Kandy. Perched on a hillside, the property offers exquisite views, with sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed right from your bed or while dining — a truly luxurious touch.
The staff are warm and accommodating throughout your stay, and the food is full of flavour and beautifully presented. With comfortable, well-maintained facilities and a peaceful atmosphere, this is a must-stay when visiting Kandy.

CLIMBING UP TO EXPERIENCE THE BEST

We accidentally ended up at The Summit, because the hotel we had booked had no electricity and we have experienced the best stay in Sri Lanka.
Excellent staff, excellent location, good food and service, amazing view.

A Beautiful Escape Above Kandy. Stunning Views & Exceptional Hospitality

Our stay at The Summit Kandy was one of the most memorable hotel experiences of our Sri Lanka trip.
The first thing that impressed us was the location and breathtaking views. Perched high above Kandy, the property feels completely removed from the busy city below. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, green, and beautiful. Waking up to the scenery and simply sitting back and enjoying the view was an experience in itself.
The property has a very special atmosphere — quiet, elegant, private, and surrounded by nature. After travelling around Sri Lanka and spending long days exploring, coming back to The Summit Kandy felt like a proper escape.
The room was comfortable, clean, beautifully maintained, and had the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and stay longer. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and the overall property has a very refined but relaxing character.
The hospitality was another highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being intrusive. You could feel that they actually cared about making the stay enjoyable rather than simply providing a standard hotel service.
The food was also very enjoyable, and having a meal while surrounded by those incredible views made the experience even better. The combination of good food, peaceful surroundings, and the scenery is something we will remember.
What I particularly loved about The Summit Kandy is that it doesn’t feel like you’re simply staying at a hotel in Kandy. It feels like you’re staying in a beautiful private retreat overlooking the hills. Good value for money.
If you’re visiting Kandy and looking for somewhere peaceful with spectacular views and excellent hospitality, I would highly recommend The Summit Kandy.
A beautiful property, wonderful people, incredible views, and a genuinely memorable stay. ❤️
Definitely one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. 10/10.

Amazing

It was a wonderful stay!! The views were incredible. I was able to look out and see so much of Kandy. The workers were so kind and helpful. They seemed to go above and beyond for everything!! The room was very clean, and had hot water and AC.
