Great hotel, cosy, stylish and warm in the winter.

This hotel is excellent. Great location, homely but stylish. Superb cosy blankets for our mid-winter stop in this high-up hotel. Great sea views and only 15 minutes from the airport and the La Peña mirador! Perfect. Thanks

Very bad experience. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Disastrous experience.
Old and neglected hotel. There is no wifi in the room.
The customer service is the worst.

Good location, basic hotel, but comfortable - would stay again

Rooms spacious, with an immense terrace overlooking the ocean. Conveniently located in Moccanal near shops and restaurants. Breakfast had sufficient variety, and fresh fruit. Had a kettle in the room which was appreciated. We did have to go to the lobby to get wifi, as couldn’t in the room, but not the end of the world.
We stayed in winter, and there was a heater already in the room on, and temp was not a problem
There is a beautiful walk down to the coast if you are 5ere - recommended, but hiking poles are helpful

Excellent hotel for walkers

Walking maps available at reception and we also used a Discovery Walking Map of el Hierro.
A good two star rural hotel. Easy parking outside the hotel. Clean rooms with plenty of hot water. Best rooms have sea view and terrace. Choice of supermarkets nearby and bars offering meals. Breakfast plentiful.
Also on the Villa Valleverde / la Frontera bus route, so it’s easy to get round most of the island without a car. We were asked for cash on the bus.
Walking on the island very varied and generally well signposted, but a map advisable. Good walking boots and walking poles recommended, be prepared for up hill rough walks.
