Emergency hotel
Stranded by cancelled flight.
Here we could book through booking.com and be by taxi within 10 minutes.
Explanation difficult to understand due to heavy Spanish accent. All the staff very friendly and helpful.
No hotel for a holiday but really for the need thick prima

Very rude night receptionist
The late-night receptionist refused to call us a taxi, claiming it was forbidden, too rude to pay attention to the public.

THIEVES SIMPLY!
On 01/02/24 I book the UCANCA hotel in Tenerife for 23/12/2024 at 88 € free cancellation until the day of arrival. The hotel charges me 88 € on 01/02/2024!!! Already I find it limiting but good .... On 24/05/24 I cancel my reservation of 23/12/24 but I am not entitled to any refund while the reservation is free cancellation for another almost 7 months! On 06/08/24 I contact the hotel who explains that I must give them a RIB because supposedly they can not refund me on my credit card! First lie!
After a month, on 17/07 still no refund I contact the customer service of "Booking". They tell me that they are dealing with this case and that "yes, it is not normal, that they will call the hotel for a refund"! 14 days later or 01/08/24 still no refund. I contact the customer service of "booking" to tell them: "you told me the last time I would have a refund of 88 € in the week and it's now 14 days and I still have nothing". They say, "We're taking care of it, we don't understand, but you should have your refund!" Third lie! On 09/09/24 and still no refund. The UCANCA hotel in Tenerife (SAN ISIDRO) is always on "booking", the rooms are always free to cancel but beware it is still a scam probably! The hotel probably has an agreement with "booking" to lure guests into believing that the cancellation is free knowing full well that they will never refund if you cancel your stay! I am Genius level 3 however I actually have no consideration of this site. It's a complete scam. Never book through them because the day a problem arises they will always choose the hotel at the expense of the individual customer! You will spend your time on the phone with a customer service that will make you run in circles but who is at best incapable and at worst dishonest! Eventually you will lose your money and a lot, time for nothing... I even went to the hotel reception in person in San ISIDRO on 31/10/2025 because I was staying in Tenerife for 10 days and again they refuse to refund me my 88 €.

Clean, tidy and basic
Flight cancelled and had to scramble for a hotel.
Found Hotel Ucanca and turned out we got lucky.
Situated close to the airport, the hotel was clean and comfy.
Very very basic but had everything you need for an overnight stay.
Wouldn't recommend for a holiday though.
If stuck and under pressure, don't be shy to book this, it will serve you well for a night or two while you get sorted.

Very close to airport
Hotel Ucanca is situated right next to the airport in South Tenerife. Its literally a 5 min drive away so very convenient for a late arrival orcearly departure. Rooms are spacious and clean. My room overlooked the front and wasquiet. There is a 24 hr recetion, vending machines for water and snacks. Very reasonable price. Would go again
