Perfect stay with great room and bed

Best hostel I've been in my life. Well equipped with all the basics desired, location is good for walking, metro, tram. The bus to the airport is a bit further ~10min walk. Nice staff

Friendly, and met all of our needs

My family (two adults and two young teenagers) stayed in a four person private room at Latroupe La Granja. The room and bathroom were clean, and spacious enough to organize and accommodate our four carryon cases and backpacks. My kids were charmed by the loft beds. (The one minor downside is that the loft beds were pretty squeaky and I have one very active sleeper, but it was not a problem, as we were only there for one night.) The front desk staff were so friendly, and not only stored our bags when we arrived early, but also sent us a WhatsApp message when we were able to check in earlier than expected. There was a tiny balcony on the room, overlooking the Plaza Circular, and there was pleasant music playing outside in the evening. The room was air conditioned and very comfortable. Very comfortable room for the two of us. The breakfast was always delicious and well-stocked. They had a sweet full bar in the -1 floor (basement) where reception is located, with ready made sandwiches and small pizzas. I loved that I could get a nice glass of rosado (rose) in the evening after a day out.
Very conveniently located near busses, and the train, which you can take north to beaches. And lots of restaurants! The staff was super-friendly and helpful with directions and fluent in English. Even though they said they weren't, their English was way better than my Spanish. My only wish is that there was more counter and storage space in the room. But other than that an excellent stay, especially for the price.
FYI, it's a hotel and a hostel so make sure to pay attention when booking if you want a private room. They also have dormitory style options. A woman we met booked a single and by mistake didn't realize she booked a room in the dorm section, and would be sharing a room with other women.

Really clean room with air conditioning and comfortable beds! Lockers were great. Social areas were not busy on a Sunday night in August.

Location and vibe is the best

Air conditioning in hot summer 2026 was nice. The location so close to everything is great. The staff, so chilled and helpful. The breakfast worth the money. Maybe the only point I would rate lower is cleanliness of the bathroom and shower. Blacke hairs of the previous guest is not exciting. Still a place I would go back.
