Rooms had a little bit of a smell, but overall was great for a quick 1 night stay.

Disappointed with standard of hotel, not expecting 5 stars but well below level witnessed at other IBIS hotels. Limited options for evening meal. Hairs in the bathroom and Poor location to walk the dog

Too many people at Breakfast. Only one coffee machine. Very high price for a room for the night.

This is an ok hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but not all. The room was clean and comfortable, but the air-conditioning didn’t seem to work and when you opened the window the road noise was loud.
It’s a convenient stop near the motorway and there are lots of places to eat and drink at the nearby shopping centres. You can catch buses into the centre of Bilbao just a short walk away.

GOOD HOTEL AND LOUSY BREAKFAST.

I have been a regular customer of IBIS BARAKALDO for a long time. Your situation for my work, comfort of parking in the same hotel and reasonable prices make it repeat as usual. The hotel staff is efficient and friendly and its facilities correct, clean and updated. I'm just putting a serious punch on this hotel. At its inception and as happens in many hotels of the IBIS chain, breakfast has been denigrated alarmingly without having changed the price of it downwards as is the case with its quality. In its beginnings it had NATURAL ORANGE JUICE (we are in Spain and the cost and maintenance of an orange-squeezing machine is not so high). There are now orange or multi-fruit tasting drinks with excruciating and chemical flavor. There was also a NATURAL FRUIT SALAD which has also been abolished. Now there are just a few mandarins and pears inedible because of how unripe they are. The PASTRIES have stopped being fresh from the day or at least baked in the same morning (we know it is frozen but if baked at the moment the feeling is pleasant). Anyway, a good hotel with an excellent staff that has decided, I suppose for economy, to make a vulgar, unhealthy breakfast and not pleasant to its customers. The same has happened at the IBIS ALCOBENDAS and I have already decided to change to the IBIS LAS TABLAS which with first class facilities maintain an impeccable breakfast and faithful to the origins of IBIS.
