Acknowledgments

Last weekend, my friends and I took advantage of the opportunity to organize a party at the motel's restaurant. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff, willingness to cooperate with guests, and the organizers provided us with a good atmosphere. The dinner was fresh, hot and tasty, in a very homely style. An exceptionally valuable convenience was unlimited access to hot drinks. We will definitely be happy to return to Victoria's hospitable roof :-)

Decent one

Decent accomodation and good value for money. Rooms are clean, some of them are refurbished, some still to go. Sometimes it is bit loud but generally this hotel is ok. Even for longer stay.
Overaal good breakfast and very good lunch and dinner is served

Nice rooms, but terrible food!

We arrived en where greeted by a Nice young men at the reception. His English was good and the hotel seemed very clean and welcoming.
Our room was simple but very clean.
When we went to the hotel Restaurant for dinner, the tables turned for the worst. Thé room was big but allmost empty. the first clue we should not have ignored where the dirty tablelinnen. There where still breadcrumbs and stains from the guest befor us (God knows how long ago that was)
The waitress didn' t speak English and what's kind of grumpy.
But thé biggest disappointmend was the food itself. Thé fish was tasteless. Thé vegetables where still a little frozen and the salad wasn't even fresh eather.
To be totaly honnest it was the worst dinner i ever been served.
The breakfast did not satisfy eather.
Is asked for scambled eggs, but u thé chef could not even pool that off. He didn't fry it enough and as a result i got somekind of egg-soup.
The two stars go to the hotel room. (Could have been more of the other facilities were up to the same standard.)
Thé Restaurant should not even get a zero.

Helpful staff, good breakfast

Nice, clean motel close to the bus station. Breakfast is extra, but definitely worth it. Walking distance to the town center, shopping, bus station. Biggest downside is the twin beds when you are traveling as a couple (they apparently do have double beds, as well)

Our vacation in Poland June 2014

We returned to the Victoria in Olkusz again! As usual, they were prepared for our arrival and we had a nice double bed, TV and a renovated washroom. When we stay at the Victoria, we are treated as family and they could not do enough for us. Whether you want to check your email, there was no hesitation to make the internet available. Breakfast was included with our rate and there was a lovely menu to select from. We would not hesitate to return as friendships have blossomed and the staff show extra care to the travelers. From Damien to Agnes to Beatia and the owner popping in and out and always giving us a big smile! Rates are excellent and we had a good sleep every night. We will be back!!
