A mighty climb but totally worth it!

This super cute villa is located in the centre of the old town in Ohrid, which itself is beautiful. It is at the top of a very steep hill which is about the only negative thing I can say about it (our legs have definitely gained muscle over the past week!) The view from our villa was just spectacular!
The man who greeted us and lived in the villa was extremely friendly and helpful. His family even left us a bottle of wine.
The villa was basic but tidy with all the necessities needed for a short stay in Ohrid. It is also located less than 5 minutes away from the lake, and 10 minutes from the city centre where the bus stop is.
In short, we would love to stay here again if given another chance to stay in beautiful Ohrid.

Adorable sweet family

A resort place for jogging, swimming, hiking, reading and get drunk. Tranquility and peaceful, people are kind. Out of 53 countries, I just come back to Bulgaria mountain. I plan to revisit Romania mountain, Albania Valbone and Ohrid, where in my long Summer trip, peak season, I still can stay away from folks of tourists. Nothing better than that, even though there is a long list of places I so desire to experience.

The Best location overlooking the lake

Small clean room, with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Ohrid has much to see and do, Villa Rustica is in a great location to Old Town, and many historical sites. Parking was available. Our hosts were very nice and helpful.

Lovely villa in the heart of Ohrid

We stayed in the villa for 2 nights and could not have wished for a better base to explore Ohrid from. The owners were so friendly and even picked us up from the airport.
The villa is a 5/10 minute walk to restaurants/bars/beaches etc. The walk back from town is pretty steep but means the views over the lake are amazing.
We definitely hope to be back one day soon!!

Amazing

The Villa is quite hard to find with a GPS but, the owner was keen to collect us and lead the way back! This was the last non-amazing part of the stay!the villa rustics is situated in an amazing spot with unbelievable postcard type views! The rooms are comfortable and cozy. They are very well maintained and decorated wonderfully! We would certainly recommend this place to others who were looking for a romantic and quaint location for rest and recuperation. You are only moments from the center of the Orhid touristy area but the walk back up the hill is a hike! The owner was exceptionally pleasant and endearing!
