Basic value for money hotel with amazing lake views
Hotel is situated above a supermarket- very busy car park outside.
Small reception area. Only 3 stories but no lifts
Our room had a lake view balcony which was lovely.
Rooms was quite big but needed a bit of TLC / maintenance.
Bed was comfortable and huge
Air con worked well.
Cooking facilities very basic - small fridge, 2 ring hob and microwave
Breakfast was very basic
Freshly cooked eggs and bread for toasting but that was about it. The cereal looked like it has been there for weeks.
Family who run and live at the hotel were helpful and friendly - they phoned a taxi for us and advised about activities.
All in all it was ok - basic and value for money.
The location and lake views is what really made it for us. We would return if visiting Pestani again

Below standard
Sub standard room we were there 2 weeks and the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all . Had to go buy cleaning product to do it ourself .
We should have had a kettle and a safe but had nothing .
The beds had no mattress protector and the sheet barely covered it , very unhygienic indeed.
We had sockets hanging off the wall in bathroom and against the bed. There was dust along the woodwork, skirting not fixed properly, tiles up on the balcony . The door of the cupboard that housed the fridge was hanging off and on moving the cupboard to switch on fridge there was broken glass and dirt behind it .
We mentioned this to the owner to be told the previous people must have done the door to the fridge and they would sort things. Nothing even got done at all. How often do the rooms get checked!!! Let alone cleaned.
We had continental breakfast and the lady doing that always spoke and smiled unlike the rest .

Nice hotel and nice location
Bathroom was spacious and sufficient. The beds were fine and nice and big. The breakfast was good and had a wide choice of everything.
