Riad in Marrakech

Very good service, although they did not speak any language other than Arabic and a little French. Everything was clean, but some furniture was quite worn out. If you do not have any quirks, it is perfect. The little rooftop pool is a small treasure. And the breakfast is very tasty :-).

Disappointed

The room was big, door was impossible to open, small cockroaches in bathroom and beside bed. Strong, bad odour coming from the bathroom. Lots of stairs to carry luggage on, the same breakfast everyday but not terrible(bread, coffee or tea, yogurt, sometimes eggs).This Riad is very difficult to find and very hard to push your luggage through the cobble stones in the heat.Recommend hiring someone, taxis aren't allowed in the Medina.

Good Riad a few steps from the main square

Small Riad really 4 minutes walk from the main square so in a great location.
We arrived at 7am but Emma's smile and wonderful tea served on the terrace with typical biscuits enchanted us.
Cleanliness in the norm for the place.
Very good breakfast in the morning, varied and plentiful.
Rooms not too large but in typical Moroccan style.
Comfortable bed.
Absolute availability from Emma.
Highly recommended for a few days in Marrakech

No luxury but fine / up and top Marrakech experience

We stayed with 4 girlfriends 3 nights at Riad Lila. We had booked all inclusive. The Riad was clean but parts are in need of a refurbishment. The swimming / plunge pool does not look fresh. We also didn't go in because there was even a haze on the water and the tiles don't look fresh. The plants in the Riad also look poor. This gives a desolate Mood. The food is fine, that's all. Really Moroccan, though. The Riad is very close to the large lively square. You won't hear any of this at the Riad. The beds are good! The shower is hopeless. You have to stand with your back almost against the wall to catch a very small street of water. Rinsing hair is almost impossible. Then the drain is also immediately blocked. There are 2 small bottles with € one red and one blue. Luckily I brought my own soap and shampoo. The towels are not changed. The bed was made every day. Staff are friendly but careful with the payment. We had to pay 120 euros instead of 30 euros council tax. Eventually after contacting Booking.com it became 30 euros again. We saw this happen again in the morning with a next couple?? All inclusive = a summary breakfast (enough, not special and no choice but something has just been put down), lunch: hot meal from the Tajine, Dinner; hot meal from the Tajine (also no choice). That's all. The Riad is very difficult to find but thanks to the description on Tripadviser and the pictures that someone put there we could find it immediately.
Our Marrakech experience was great thanks to this Riad! No luxury but fine!

Good Price quality ratio

We were very well received by Emma. She is very available and attentive. The rooms are clean. Just a little refreshment in the Riad would do good. Considering the time we spent in the day this suited us very well. It is very close to Jemaa El Fna Square, Koutoubia. A very quiet street with a nice rooftop. We had a very good stay
