One night in Downtown Tamasopo

Stayed in this hotel the night of Saturday Feb 19, 2022 after having stayed a night at another resort on the outskirts of Tamasopo. The Cosmos is a good location in the heart of the Tamasopo pueblo near many restaurants and the town square. It's reasonably quiet and clean. Restaurant on site which is pretty good and very reasonably priced. Many places to fill your water bottles. There's a pool and what appears to be a 'hot' tub, but neither are heated or very clean. Room was adequately furnished with two nightstands, a table, armoire and vanity. Only 2 pillows were provided, upon request we were given 1 additional pillow, but no case (improvised with a tshirt). Only two small towels are provided (no bath mat, no hand or face towles). TV had Netflix, but I was unable to log out of the profile that was logged in, so only able to watch Spanish language shows. Wifi worked well in the room and all over the property. There's secure parking on the premises.

WE DEMAND THAT THE HOTEL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE

Dear City President, we approach you as the highest authority of Tamasopo to request your support. Since there is a hotel named Hotel Cosmos, Tamasopo SLP in which last July 27 due to negligence of the administration a guest suffered an unfortunate incident.
We have tried to request the support of the management to the hotel manager but they ignore the call. Our client, Mrs. Isabel Ramos Castro, requests your intervention to find the indicated people or the owner of the hotel.
Hoping to be able to count on your unmatched support. Since there can be no hotel service providers in tamasopo that affect the confidence of those who visit
The administration has already deleted its own Facebook account to avoid exposing what happened. We'll ask sectur. Tamasopo Municipal Tourism Committee. Profeco to take action on the matter due to their lack of responsibility for this hotel

Horrible service

We wanted to speak with a supervisor since we got in late.manager didn't allow us to get anything better. We had to look for something else and since there was nothing else available we were stuck here in this place. People here are so nice but in this hotel they suck!

1 night stay

Stayed 1 night... the toilet seat was covered with white crust, looked like it had been wiped with the floor rag. The room smelled of humidity... walls looked like they had never been wiped. The wall AC unit was very noisy. My inlaws did not have any towels in their room and their remote did not work. Didn't use the pool as it was filled with kids and smelled.
Had breakfast at the restaurant... hard to mess up eggs so food was deceny although the place was not very clean especially the floor. Service was poor... 2 gals standing around.

Hotel Cosmos' online website does't work

The amenities are good for what you paid for. Don’t book on their website. It is better if you do through booking or paid on cash. Their own online system doesn’t work. They said we needed to paid again. Since we thought it was already charged to the card we used. So we ended up paying in cash. Noticing a few days later they charged credit card. So they charged us twice . Until now they haven’t refund what they charged on the credit card.
