Functional Cheap Backpackers

If you want to be close to Alor Street for the food and don't mind some noise at night, this is the place to be. The price is cheap so there's nothing much to complain about. Do take note, the hotel is hidden behind the hawkers at night, so it could be quite hard to navigate your way around at the first time. Bed was somewhat comfortable, but it's a little bit on the noisy side at night. Hot showers are provided.

Cheap and Great Location

The price is relatively cheap for the location (in Jalan Alor). Bed, linen and toilet basically are clean, and they have medium-big compartment for us to save our luggage. Only the breakfast is not so appetizing: bread & jam, boiled egg, but still fine for our 1 day stay.

A hotel near Alor Street, Malaysia

2 days ago I was from malaysia for a vacation, I slept here at budget in hotel for 3 nights, the room is nit really big but comfort enough for rest. The toilet had a water heater, for a breakfast we had bread toast and nasi lemak, also a cup of tea and coffee. Budget in hotel is near from Sungai Whang mall, Pavillion mall and many more also near from petronas tower, approximately 25 minutes if you tak a walk, using taxi only need to paid for RM 5. At the noon till late night, there are many foods seller out of the hotel, they sell steam satay, seafood, mee and many malaysian foods. But, for muslim visitors, you have to ask if that food halal for you. After all, budget in hotel can be a place if you go to malaysia especially at alor street. (Sorry if there any mistakes for the text) thank you have a nice holiday! :)

tres tres bruyant surtout pendant le nouvel an chinois

Hotel pour très petit budget sur Jalan Alor chambre tres tres bruyante qui donne sur la rue animée de Jalan Alor impossible de dormir correctement
L'hotel est propre mais le personnel est peu aimable
Le petit déjeuner est correct

Salah satu hotel budget di alor

Sepertinya hotel ini terdiri dari 2 gedung berbeda. Ketika datang, kami diberi room di gedung utama di lantai 3. Tidak ada lift dan tangganya berupa tangga melingkar. Ternyata lantai 3 berupa dormitory luas dan langsung masuk ke kamar tidurnya. Di dalam dormitory tsb ada 1 ruangan privat dengan 2 bunk bed. Tiap bed diberi lemari dan loker masing-masing. Setiap tamu juga diberi handuk dan 1 sabun batangan. Kamar di privat room walaupun ber-AC tapi berbau agak apek, mungkin karena tidak ada jendela. Free wifi dan dalam kamar banyak tersedia colokan listrik untuk tiap bed.
Sayangnya kamar mandi di lantai 3 tsb sharing & campur. Ada beberapa bilik WC dan 4 bilik untuk kamar mandi.
Untuk keamanan, ketika hendak masuk ke dormitory di lantai 3, kita harus menswipe kartu terlebih dahulu agar pintu terbuka. Setelah itu, untuk masuk ke privat room juga ada kunci tersendiri.
Sarapan sudah include dengan menu standar: nasi lemak, roti, sereal. Minum bisa request teh atau kopi.
Sepertinya lebih bagus ruangan di gedung sebelah. Selain itu kamar mandi di gedung sebelah juga ensuite dalam kamar.
Kejadian tidak mengenakkan: 4 tempat tidur bunk bed sudah kami book dan sudah dibayar. Tapi 2 orang tidak jadi datang. Tiba-tiba pemilik hotel memberikan bunk bed tsb kepada tamu lain. Apakah memang begitu kebijakan hotel? Tidak jadi datang tapi sudah kami bayar dan lalu bisa diberikan pada tamu lain di luar rombongan?
