Solo lady views

Lovely lodge with great friendly staff.watching and hearing the hippos was amazing.
I stayed in a tent which was great except there was no way to contact reception should I have had a problem in the night.wifi in room or a phone would have been very reassuring for me as a single elderly lady guest.also would have been great to have had a kettle in the tent.

just perfect

The camp is very nicely located on the river, was very well rehabilitated after the flood. Food is excellent, even during the safari. Very attentive staff who read every wish from your eyes. The tents are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Perfect for safari in the Masai Mara.

Memorable safari days

Fig Tree Camp is a very good spot for a safari in the Maasai Mara. Beautiful complex with very friendly staff, the tents are stable, spacious and all face the river, where you can also watch and hear the house hippos more often. The food we found ok, i.e. neither particularly good nor bad, electricity is only available to a limited extent and wifi is only available in the public areas. We liked it, which certainly also had to do with the great safari experiences, as we were really allowed to see all the large animals that the Maasai Mara has to offer.

A Stunning Location with a Fully Expert, Knowledgeable, and Respectful Team

I had an absolutely amazing 4-night stay at this accommodation, right inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, overlooking the stunning Talek River. Check-in was smooth, and I was generously upgraded to a beautiful, clean, riverside tent. The staff were incredibly friendly and respectful, especially Sheila, who was so attentive and kind. The food was outstanding, and I have to give a special thanks to my safari guide, Hiram, who worked tirelessly to give me the best wildlife views. We spotted so many animal species and breathtaking scenes from the Mara River. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking both peace and thrilling adventure!

I had an amazing stay—check-in was incredibly fast, and the reception was so warm and welcoming. They even offered me a free early check-in and upgraded me to a riverfront tent. The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and my room was cleaned twice daily. Shila at reception was especially kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. I also want to thank my guide, Hiram, who went above and beyond to find all the animals I wanted to see during the game drives. I truly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-organized safari stay with a friendly and respectful team.
