Hotel is okay, taxi service is a scam!
The hotel itself is okay, but a bit dated. The food is plentiful and good. Vegetarian options are not possible, as the menu is fixed and the kitchen is absolutely inflexible.
Drinks are relatively expensive and cost extra.
However, the worst part is the arrival and departure. Be sure to take the city bus from Hakata Station.
We took a taxi there, which cost a total of 8000 yen. For the return trip, the hotel arranged a taxi, but they did not want to tell us exactly how much it would cost. When the taxi arrived the next morning, our suitcases were immediately loaded into a minibus for about 10 people. Upon inquiry, we were then quoted a price of 20000 yen. This price is outrageous and the approach is fraudulent!
We then had to pay 2000 yen for the trip to get our suitcases back and took the city bus for 1000 yen per person back to Hakata Station.

The water is good, the food is good and there's nothing to say.
Zen in a hot water a short distance away
They'll give you a lift. The open-air bath is just right and feels good. The public bath was a little hot. The food is also very good, especially in the morning, and the word Nansuikaku is written on the kelp of hot tofu. Lounges are also available for free during the time zone.
You can walk in the facility without slippers with tatami mats.

Can be better.....
The surrounding area and public area (front desk and restaurant) were quite nice, however, we were a bit disappointed once we got into our room. The room's interior decor and condition is old compare to the public area, the facilities inside the room are quite worn out, e.g the hot water jug, the closet, the toilet and the bathroom although they all function well but I feel there is quite a big difference between the public area and the interior of the room.
Dinner was included in the accommodation plan and this is the part where we were strongly disappointed. The food serving speed was way too fast, the dinner was a 6-8 course dinner if I remember right and they were all served in 10 minutes and we weren't even sure if they are supposed to be served cold or hot as some of the food were quite cold when we taste them, I can't quite remember if we did have hot course apart from the tofu and the rice where they were being cooked at your table. The taste of the food is considered as poor where we have tried many Japanese food in different part of Japan and I am sure there is a lot of room for improvement with the dinner restaurant that we dine at. The breakfast that we had in the morning was better but not delicious. Our mood was quite turn down after the dinner.
We went to the hot spring area where you need to walk about 4-5 minutes to the outdoor hot spring area, which is located at another block from the accommodation block, and there is also indoor hot spring area at the same building as the accommodation room and restaurant. We didn't try the hot spring and it was partly due to the poor mood after the dinner.
We stayed 4 nights in Fukuoka, 2 nights at a city hotel, 1 night at a small size ryokan in Yufu and our last night at this place and this place is the most expensive one compare to the other 2 places that we stayed and we were upset for the quality that we have paid for, it's poor value for money and you can sure get much better enjoyment somewhere else for this price.
