Spectacular

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet and peaceful location, but well connected to Brunico and the ski lifts not only by road but also by a free shuttle bus service available at different times for customers.
Rooms equipped, wooden, well heated and insulated.
Free covered car park and Sky Room well heated available to customers.
Breakfast and dinner with a wide variety of dishes, with a wide choice of buffets. The dinner includes an excellent buffet + another 4 courses of national and regional cuisine revisited exceptionally by the chefs.
Spa characterized by a large swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, armchairs with infrared thermotherapy and outdoor hot tub.
All staff extremely helpful and friendly for any need.
The only downside, that you live the last day of stay, is... the fact of having to leave!
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Positive but..

Very large hotel, which offers not only rooms but also apartments (near the property after the river). Which we used. It offers a very large swimming pool and a gym, while the sauna area should be recommended for an adult audience as you enter naked.
The only negative note we noticed is that those staying in the apartments do not get the welcome cocktail (perhaps other services too?) which you are not told about at check-in. Experience found to be a bit expensive but positive.

Everything you need, here it is!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I never wanted to leave. Here you feel like you are at home, never miss a smile, a greeting and a chat from all the staff, including the owners who are wonderful.
Exceptional breakfast with a wide choice of typical and local products. Dinner is of an incredible quality that few hotels find.
The spa and pool are the real treat, brand new, warm, comfortable and clean.
In short, if you want to feel pampered, come here!
You won't regret it.

What matters

We spent a few days at the Anewandter during the Christmas holidays. After the first night we realized that the accommodation had some aspects that did not put us at ease. We therefore decided to make our needs known, in a gentle and unarrogant manner. It was with great pleasure that we were confronted with people who accepted both objective and subjective comments, without judgment or evaluation. They simply tried to understand our needs and, despite a high season, they were able to offer us in a very short time a perfect alternative for us. They listened to us, understood us and solved the problem!!! Regardless of the category, the services offered, routine kindness is the ability to empathize with customers, the fundamental gift of those who deal with hospitality.
In this for us Anewandter deserves five stars!

The best hotel in South Tyrol?

We stayed for six days in September 2025 at the hotel Anewandter in Uttenheim, a great base for excursions in South Tyrol. This is a really perfect hotel: very nice typical building, both inside and out, with spacious, cozy and neat rooms. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, and an almost gourmet 5-course dinner is served every evening. Moreover, the family that runs the hotel, and also the entire staff are extremely friendly. For lovers there is an indoor pool and wellness.
