Comfortable and Clean

Room Clean and Comfortable.
Mini Bar but no glasses to drink from??!!
Breakfast Buffet with good choice of Cooked /Continental items.
Staff at Reception could have been a little more friendly (Apart from lady with curly hair who was nice).
Room cleaned and towels changed daily by nice Maids.
Area grotty but good Bus /Train options to go elsewhere.

Great location

Great hotel to stay in whilst visiting Venice - right across the road is the train station and your ticket to Venice will cost €1.50 each way pp. Mini fridge/bar available as well as complimentary tea/coffee. Modern hotel with comfortable beds, access to a variety of tv channels. Venice tourist tax included during peak season but remember to register for this. Only concern was that one of our towels had some long dark hairs on it - neither of us have long dark hair.

Old outdated hotel with clogged shower drains & AC issues

Hotel was just OK.
Shower drains were clogged during our stay.
Water overflows into the bathroom if you want good water pressure. Luckily, there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom (not just in the shower), so the water drained out eventually.
Had to reduce our water pressure with shower, so this would not continue to happen, which was unfortunate as my daughter and I decided to not wash our hair during our stay due to poor drainage. The hotel knows that there is an issue with this. I pointed that out during our phone call to the front desk. There are old water overflow stains/wood damage on the hotel bathroom door/wall of bathroom, so there is an ongoing issue there.
Even though air conditioning is advertised, the AC does not work well at all. During our early July 2026 stay, the coolest that our room got down to with "AC" was 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I called the front desk to help with both issues. I said the AC was the most important at that moment. A man came to our room immediately to check our AC, he said it was working. Even if it was working, it does not work well my any means. He offered us a fan, which we took and used for our 2-night stay. It still did not lower past 80 degrees while we were in our room to sleep. They never addressed the clogged drain issue, even though we called to have that looked at.
Hotel is old and outdated.
The beds were comfy/fine. The room was large. The breakfast was great. Great location.
I would not stay here again.

Muggy hotel with tired staff uninterested in serving customers. Railway station nearby. No decent restaurants in the neighborhood that is sketchy overall. Bad value for money.

Great hotel just outside Venice

Let’s start with - a great hotel, staff are friendly, English speaking and check-in was easy. Don’t believe the reviews regarding noise & water - both were fine, no issues.
The hotel room is clean, basic and functional - for our 2 night stay it was perfect. The bathroom was huge, had a bidet too (but we’re British so didn’t use that lol). Towels provided and plenty of toiletries (shower gel/shampoo). A small, well stocked mini fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Plenty to eat for breakfast, continental style though so don’t expect a full English.
Now the location - sold to us as the quiet part of Venice - it’s in Mestre which is a 20 min journey by bus (€1.50 for 2 people single journey) and the buses are every 20mins. Mestre is not Venice but just outside. The hotel is also opposite the train station so you have ‘transport choices’ - no noise from the station. The location was perfect for us, we prefer joust out of town and exploring by local transport. Caught an early bus into Venice (don’t forget to validate your ticket) and a bus past midnight back so absolutely no issues). You catch the bus/get off the bus right outside so easy to find too.
All in all, we loved out stay here. The hotel has a modern feel, is accessible for disabled travellers; is easy to get and from for the main sights in Venice. It’s clean, well presented and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel, the location and the stay (just be fully appraised of where you’re staying before you arrive)
