On the descent of the candlesticks

We stayed only one night, that of the Faradda, the famous and spectacular descent of the candlesticks; main reason why I chose this hotel and it turned out to be a winning choice. Right on the homonymous course where the candlesticks pass "downhill", in the center. Friendly and professional hotel staff, clean room, furniture a bit to renew in my opinion, air conditioning and wifi all working. Good breakfast, sweet and savory.

Great experience

Great two nights in old but very clean classic italian hotel. Breakfast very good for price even made my husband a fresh omelete. Staff lovely room a little dark and there was a balcony but the view of a empty pidgeon building a bit off putting. if room had more modern and lighter furniture it be perfect.

Excellent experience.

Excellent hotel in the historic center. Quiet and peaceful, it has functional and spotless rooms with a very comfortable bed.
Varied breakfast, with many varieties of cakes and savory food.
I would like to make just one suggestion: add fresh bread to the breakfast offering.

One night stay in the city

I stayed in this hotel for one night.
Classic style hotel. Clean and well furnished room, as expected for a city context. Large bathroom.
Abundant breakfast, perhaps avoid the radio in the background.
Professional staff.
At first glance, it is poorly attended, but that's just an impression. It is actually very close to the center and is in a comfortable and quiet area.

Street noise

Everthing worked in this hotel in a rundown part of Sassari, 700 metres from the railway station.
However street noise from atypical individuals kept me awake for some time.
The room had an abysmally small TV but was airconditioned. Lighting was fine.
The pleasant girl at reception said my room did not have a double bed. This was incorrect. The bed had a top sheet, which I vastly prefer to heavy doonas. Well done.
For the first time on this Eurailpass in Italy, the room had a fridge.
The bathroom had a half circle shaped shower to a good design that seems all the rage in Europe.
Hot water arrived within a second or two. A meagre single serve of shampoo was in the room.
The breakfast was fine. Unusually one could gave an omelette cooked. I asked for ham cheese and capsicum, but it did not have the latter. Europe can often have a poor eange of available vegetables compared to nations like Australia and Philippines/Thailand.
