Decent budget hotel very close to the leaning tower, family room was clean enough but the bathroom had seen better days. It was fine for us as we were only staying one night. McDonald’s is right downstairs and good for breakfast.
The only disappointment was that we asked to store our bags on the day we left and the man on the front desk told us to leave them at the mid point on the stairs, we assumed he was going to put them in the room with the lock, but when we returned several hours later they were still on the stairs, right next to the door to the storage room.
We don’t leave anything of value in our bags when we store them, but we wouldn’t have left them if we’d known they weren’t going to be stored securely.

Bad experience

Family trip. Triple room. No elevator, just wooden stairs and old ones, too. No breakfast, neither included nor paid, they do not prepare it at all. The window of our room looked directly onto a terrace with tables outside so you could not open otherwise those passing outside would have seen us. The bathroom was bad, full of rust and would flood if you turned on the taps and in fact I found myself with my foot all wet at night. You had to wait 20 minutes to get hot water down. Bad shower. Bidet too attached to the wall so there were no legs of those who wanted to wash, we used it backwards. Tourist tax and payment on arrival instead of departure, something never seen before in any other hotel. One very nice and helpful person at the “reception”, if we want to call a small banquet at the entrance, but no staff around. Air conditioning not working and noisy while trying to operate. Electrical outlets in the room not working, the plugs did not stay inserted but fell, we tried to keep them attached pushing against the flayed bedside table but it did not serve any purpose. The only plus point is the location a few steps from the Tower of Pisa. All the photos on the site are not true, we have not seen any outdoor green space to be called GARDEN.

The hotel has seen better days!
the roof top is ok, but there is no bar, no food or drink service, facing the back of the hotel not as pretty as the picture on the site;
our room was very small, very noisy, no electrical outlet (at least in our room: we had to charge in the bathroom)
The place is barely ok for one night
The one positive point that redeems all my negative points : literally 3 mn from the tower
Free parking in the street close by (not easy to find) and paying private parking close to hotel

The hotel was in a fabulous location and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be as it was so close to the leaning tower of Pisa. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and I couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel is very dated, it could do with an upgrade, however for the price I felt it was reasonable.
The mini fridge in the room wasn’t working and as they didn’t offer breakfast it meant that my fruit went bad so I couldn’t eat it. But my stay was comfortable and it covered my needs.

Good location to the leaning tower, next door actually. 20 minutes walk to train station. recommended for a stay
