Gallipoli? Hotel Rivabella!

When travelling to the south, expectations of accommodation facilities are always punctually disappointed, especially in relation to the stars. In this case, for the first time, exactly the opposite happened: expectations of a three-star hotel, chosen mainly for its great price, were resoundingly denied. The property is located no more than 30 steps from the free beach of Rivabella, very quiet and framed by a beautiful pine forest, but it is also just three minutes from the lively center of Gallipoli Vecchia and is strategically central to visit all of Salento: any location is a maximum of 45 minutes from Rivabella. The hotel is very well maintained and clean, enjoys several common areas indoors and outdoors and offers a top level of services for the three stars: in addition to the bar and restaurant, it has the H24 reception, a magnificent 14*6 pool very well maintained, a hot tub, sauna, a gym, table tennis, billiards... and I definitely forget something. The whole structure is video-surveillance, and this instills a sense of security in the guest. The owner has been in the business for over 50 years and it shows! It's omnipresent, just look around and it appears, and solves in a fiat any need. The breakfast is sufficiently rich and presents a first choice offer, can please anyone. The dinner follows the logic of home cooking, with very tasty and appetizing recipes. Every evening you can choose between a good quality fish option and a land one, both for the first and for the second. Mouth-watering with portions that say generous is little. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully furnished and well maintained, have everything: telephone, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe and even a wall clock. The rooms for longer stays also have a large terrace, furnished with a sitting area and equipped with clothesline and clothespins. These rooms face west, so they do not sunbathe in the afternoon, ensuring excellent comfort. The rooms are however equipped with integrated air conditioning with independent control, also available the night function for the reduction of annoyance. The laundry is inside the hotel, this guarantees greater hygiene and less reluctance to change towels, allowing you to always have it fresh and clean. Trouble? None, everything runs smoothly because the religious respect of the few days of rest of the guest is, for the property, sacred. Thank you Hotel Rivabella, see you soon!

Very recommended

Great value for money Very courteous staff. Breakfast good but to be improved (you can add croissants stuffed with cream, pastries etc...) regarding savory (to add cold cuts) Very comfortable bed and large room When I return to the area I will go to the same hotel. Very recommendable!

Everyone was kindly friendly and very polite, in particular a lady who was at the bar every morning and above all a boy behind the reception…
The night caretaker who greeted you badly and annoyed every time you returned to the hotel in the evening was unprofessional... touchy but very touchy and unprofessional I think he is the owner

Holidays Gallipoli

We came from Switzerlad with some italian friends and spent 2 nights in the hotel. The owners a family are adorable and the hotel is well situated and 200m from the beach with big room and a nice balcony. Variety of choice for Breakfast. I higly recommand this hotel. Many thanks Rivabella see you next time ;)
