A charming retreat in the heart of the island: how to feel at home, but with a sea view

I spent a wonderful stay at the Quartara hotel from 14 to 22 July with my husband and son.
Hotel Quartara is not simply a hotel: it is an authentic experience, a charming retreat where elegance meets Aeolian tradition. Every detail, from the carefully chosen furnishings to the search for materials, tells a story of family and respect for the identity of the place.
We stayed in a Deluxe room with terrace: a space that won us over. Furnished with carefully selected pieces from distant countries, it has been able to combine comfort and aesthetics impeccably. In the evening coming back and stopping to watch the sunset or the starry sky from that terrace was one of the most magical moments of our holiday.
Leading this corner of paradise is Maria Pia, the hostess, able to welcome with sincere warmth, attention and an ever present but never intrusive look. Alongside her, Giulia, Dennis and Elisabetta, affectionate, friendly, discreet, attentive and deeply professional collaborators, who manage to make every guest feel not only welcome, but really at home.
Dinners at the Broccia restaurant were every evening a small event. Dishes of excellent quality, presented with elegance and accompanied by a Service that made us feel pampered and guided in the choices with grace and competence.
The Quartara is the ideal place for those seeking beauty, tranquility and true hospitality. Every moment spent there, from breakfast overlooking the sea to moments of evening conviviality, to daily exchanges to ask for advice, is followed with care, affection and availability, creating a unique atmosphere, made of smiles, small gestures and great attention.
A stay at Quartara is a journey into the most authentic soul of Panarea: sophisticated, relaxing and deeply human..... a place where time slows down and fills the heart!

A dream holiday

Our stay was just fantastic!
The spacious room, spotless, well furnished, equipped with every comfort, with soft linen and fragrant bath products.
Hearty breakfast and excellent quality, with sweet and savory dishes.
We were honored with the room on the terrace overlooking the pier of the magical Panarea, which allowed us to enjoy the panorama that changes nuances as the day goes on.
MariaPia and the guys welcomed us and pampered us, made our holiday perfect. A piece of my heart stayed there

Can't say enough good things

Outstanding staff and location. about this place. Beautiful and perfectly relaxing. Amazing attention to guests and beauty. Truly artistic, welcoming and beautiful meals - the best we had on our entire vacation. This is the stuff we will dream of when winter sets in. Sebastian, who welcomed and cared for us, was the best host I have ever encountered.

We came for the food, we were stunned by the view!

Outstanding. Our group of 13 friends was in a rush, given a quick stop at Panerea during our boat tour. The staff helped us select dishes for a family-style meal, that was a highlight of our trip. Don’t miss the Caponata with Spada, gnocchi with clams and pistacchio (really), and the pane canzoto (spelling?), with pistacchio. Most importantly don’t miss the dessert cookies, with Marzipan. Great service and great food, with a mind blowing view of the sea. When we return to the Aeolian Islands we will spend a few days at their hotel.

The place is pure magic. They deliver exactly what you see un their pictures. The warmth and ultra kind attention is unique. They care of every detail, everything you need is delivered kindly. They also have amazing recommendations for dinner and lunch. #1 place in Panarea.
