Fantastic.

I spent 2 fantastic days in this small hotel, great location, all well cared for, excellent quality dinner, very prepared waitress and especially the owner,
exquisite person, solved a small inconvenience with a great solution.
I will definitely return.

Only two stars?!

Wonderful!! there are no words to describe this small inn.the owner welcomed us politely immediately.we chose to dine in the restaurant that delighted us with really sublime dishes ... the typical wooden structure very pretty .. rooms clean.warm and welcoming .. a word more deserves breakfast. Special .. all prepared really well and homemade .. from apple pie to biscuit jams. Local cured meats and cheeses one better than the other. Great. We'll be back

Charming family run hotel

I had discovered this place in beautiful Val di Non when trying the restaurant a couple of months ago, which was great. So I took the opportunity of a short vacation in Trentino to stay in the hotel. It may be only two stars, but it is more comfortable, spacious and clean than many four stars I've visited! Totally charming (I had the 'Renetta' room on the second floor). It is located on the main road of the village but the place is very tranquil. The owner Danilo is a real professional with a personal touch; nothing is too much trouble and he will go all the way to accommodate your needs. (Brits will like him because while he looks very serious he has a nice sense of humour).
Breakfast is wonderful. Much home made and local stuff, including lovely jams, cakes and cheeses. Remember, this is a small *family* hotel, so don't expect the one hundred items of an international hotel! This is simply a wonderful selection of genuinely good ingredients, which speak of the terroir around.
Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. To repeat, the place is probably two stars because it does not have the necessary frills for a higher classification, such as minibar etc., but the level of comfort -bed, bathrobes, wifi, shower, space- is high indeed.

Great stop on our way to the Dolomites

We drove from Lago Iseo to Bolzano in the summer, and stopped at Locanda Alpina for some lunch. And what a lunch, after deciding what to eat, we got to complementary dishes from the kitchen, before the lunch we had ordered came. Everything tasted so good, so we are so glad we stopped by here, and will do it again if we come to Brez again.

Wonderful experience

My family traveled to this village to see where my mother's father had been raised. We were greeted by the proprietor, Danilo, who provided us with help and advice about seeking out possible family members still in the area. Both Danilo and his wife run a wonderful hotel and fabulous restaurant according to exacting standards of hospitality, cleanliness, comfort and fine dining. The hotel, bar, breakfast room and dining room were all so clean and appointed with lovely, local furnishings that combined both antique and modern wood furniture made in the local style. There is a lovely outside patio set in a small, but beautifully landscaped, garden. Every detail is attended to in the furnishings and in the maintenance of the property. The location is beautiful, although it is quite loud with tractor traffic in the morning. We ate in the dining room both nights and it was a SUPERB experience from beginning to end. The service is exceptional and the food out of this world. We could not believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a lovely hotel and then be blown away by the cuisine, ambiance and service of the dining room. In all, an experience to remember and a place to return.
