Oh boy, where do I start? The first night there was an electrical closet beside my room that hummed every 10 seconds for 10 seconds all night. Breakfast was pretty well all Indonesian food except for an omelette, the second room smelled very strongly of a solvent or cleaner, so strong it gave me a headache, I didn’t stay more than 5 minutes before I left, the next room was next door to it and it was the same, the hotel guy that accompanied me walked in and walked out of both. The fourth room was ok but there was a wedding reception going on with very loud thumping music which they said would stop at 10. It went on until 11:20. Then they started moving furniture around until 12:30. Smoking in the restaurant was so bad I left as soon as I could. The area around the hotel is rundown and sketchy. Avoid this place.

AVOID Rylich, worst hotel and bad management

Worst hotel and bad management
This is my worst experience, while having travelled worldwide for 30 years !
As my flight arrived early morning in Sorong (5h30), I checked with the hotel if an early check in would be possible.
They told me that wasn't guaranteed and that I should book an additional night, which I did.
Upon arrival, they gave me the worst room, old and dirty, with a noise of running water in the wall, that was a 'Superior' and not a the 'Premiere' that I booked which is more expansive, without explanation.
When I requested to change they told me that I had to wait until another customer leave, which means they sold and get paid twice for this room.
At the end I paid a full night and only had the room at 12h30, which means I could use 1h30 of my booking and had to change room 6h after my arrival, which was not the point of paying for an extra day.
Following that, I've contacted the hotel several times and never received any answers.
The same apply to Agoda and their AI customer support agent that is totally useless and their Customer Support Agent that were asking for evidences, 10 days later... not sure how to do that.

Second Business Trip to Sorong in 2 Weeks

Had a few day stay at the hotel. Good location, easy to get anywhere. Staff was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Though you cannot see much outside from the room window. Breakfast service was just standard but you can go culinary anywhere in the city.
