Nestled near the spectacular confluence of the Chandra and Bhaga rivers in Tandi, Himachal Pradesh, Camp the Sanga offers an unmatched location. If you are looking to escape the commercial crowds of mainstream Himachal, this is where you need to be. The geography itself creates a sense of raw, untouched wilderness.
The Views: Picture-Perfect Serenity
The scenic beauty here is nothing short of breathtaking.
The Backdrop: Towering, snow-capped mountains frame the horizon.
The Foreground: The pristine river flows right along the property, offering a soothing, continuous soundtrack of rushing water.
The Vibe: It is incredibly serene. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the morning light hit the peaks is a therapeutic experience that photos simply cannot do justice.

Pathetic Service and Staff
**Review of Camp The Sanga Resort, Keylong**
My experience at Camp The Sanga Resort was disappointing and did not justify the premium pricing charged for the accommodation.
**Major concerns:**
1. **Poor Management & Unprofessional Staff**
The management was ineffective, and several staff members displayed rude behavior. They were largely uncooperative when assistance was required.
2. **Substandard Service**
Overall service levels were poor, with delayed responses to guest requests and a lack of attention to customer satisfaction.
3. **Poor Food Quality & Delays**
The food quality was below expectations, and meal preparation took an excessively long time, causing unnecessary inconvenience.
4. **Power Backup & Heating Issues**
During power cuts, the resort did not have a functioning generator available. The room heaters were not working properly, and there were no adequate standby arrangements to ensure guest comfort in the cold weather.
5. **Overpriced Accommodation**
The tents and doms are priced quite high, but the facilities and maintenance standards do not match the rates being charged.
6. **Connectivity Problems**
Mobile network connectivity is extremely limited. Only Jio works reasonably well, while Airtel has very weak coverage in certain areas. Additionally, there are no in-room phones to contact the staff, making communication difficult.
**The only positive aspect** of the property is its beautiful surrounding scenery and mountain views. Unfortunately, apart from the location and views, there is very little that justifies the cost of staying here.
**Rating: 2/5**
Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made in management, maintenance, service quality, and guest facilities.

A beautifully balanced retreat
Review:
We stayed in the Awaaz‑e‑Chenab River‑View Tent and it was truly spectacular. Each tent, about 36 m² in size, offers a private patio overlooking the river and mountains, allowing us to wake up to gentle water sounds and breathtaking views. The tent came with premium bedding, a king-sized pillow‑top bed, MP3 docking station, heating, fan, and a private bathroom with all essentials including a hairdryer. There was Wi‑Fi (50+ Mbps), room service, and an electric kettle—perfectly blending comfort with nature

A great value for money
Great location very near to Tandi bridge. Gives an off-road feel to reach there however just about 500 meters from main road right next to the Chandrabhaga/Chenab river banks.
Great team especially owner Mr Nitin himself setting up this new property.
There are a few glitches but I am sure I expected them for a property that has just started operating a month back in a remote location.
Very helpful employees.
We went there for 1 day and landed up staying for 4 days.
Highly recommeded for friends who do not mind a bit of discomfort for a beautiful location. Excellent for bag packers and adventure seekers on way to Leh/Zanskar or who wish too spend some value time in Lahaul Valley
