Lovely and homely veg food

Unbeatable test of food
Any item you order,you will get fresh hygienic and sumptuous
Puranpoli Modak and other typical Maharashtrian delicacies are very good
Service time is also reasonable
Not very decorative but food quality is maintained

Small, Basic, Local Place that serves Good Maharashtrian Food

Hotel Rest In Forest is a Small Little Local Restaurant in Jambhulpada on the Khopoli-Pali Road, where we stopped for Breakfast on our way to Dapoli. It is a Very Basic Local Restaurant, but has Washrooms which are not very clean, but just about ok to use. They have a good range of Local Food Items and everything is Freshly Made and quite Tasty too. We had Misal Pav, Upma and Batata Wada, followed by Coffee for Breakfast. The Taste was Good, the Service was Prompt and the Rates are Very Reasonable too. It is a good place to stop at for a Quick Local Breakfast or Brunch or Snack, if you are ok with a Basic Local Place with no Frills that offers Tasty Local Maharashtrian Food.

Poor hospitality

We were a group of 40 people who visited their restaurant for lunch. They took time to arrange the buffet although they had already been informed about the timing. Insisted that we take buttermilk in tiny katoris instead of glasses/tumblers, the buttermilk was watery with no masala or salt. The food was to be unlimited for everyone but when 2 of our Jain employees asked for a second helping of a vegetable they were curtly refused. The gulab jamuns were not well made.
The rest of the food: stuffed brinjal, matki vegetable etc was good. However the poor hospitality put us off and we will not visit this place again or recommend it to anyone. There are better places in terms of hospitality and food in the vicinity.

FAMILY GATE TO GATHER

We stayed one night in this hotel. We had a family gathering. The hotel was family friendlyThe meal was delicious. Our stay was cool. The resort is on two sides of the road. There is a restaurant on one side. And on the other side are the rooms.
