A very comfortable stay

It was my third visit at this hotel, for a night halt on my way back home from Kanha National Park to Jamshedpur. Because of my earlier pleasant experiences, this time also I decided to stay in this hotel. Accordingly I called them before my journey, and a room was booked for me. When I reached there in the evening, I was already tired after driving a distance of around 430 km, we found it as the perfect place for our night stay, and also safely parking the car. As usual, the room was neat and clean, spacious and comfortable, along with all the amenities commonly available in any standard business hotel. Immediately after check-in, we ordered grilled sandwich, which they prepare really very well. The dinner was excellent. Next day we checked-out early in the morning, and they provided packed breakfast – and everything at a very reasonable price. So it is almost certain that whenever I will be travelling towards Chhattisgarh / Madhya Pradesh, and if there is a mid-way halt at Ambikapur, we will stay at Hotel Avalon Inn.

A good experience

I and my wife were travelling from Jamshedpur to Bandhavgarh by road, and there was a need for an overnight stay somewhere mid-way. So, we planned for a night stay at Ambikapur, both ways, and we decided to stay at Avalon Inn.
We just wanted to spend a night, without keeping much of expectation about the hotel. But, surprisingly, what we found was really impressive. It is a small hotel, but the rooms are spacious, neat and clean. House keeping standard is very good, like any 2-3 star hotel. People are courteous and responsive. A clean bathroom, with running hot/cold water supply. Sufficient parking space inside the hotel for safe parking of personal vehicle. Good food at a reasonable price. What else does a person need for an overnight stay? I think it is an under-rated hotel, and an excellent option for a business trip of 2-3 days or a stopover night stay during a long journey.

Budget stay

Located right in the middle of the main market this is a budget hotel ok for one night stay. They should improve the quality of dusting as that was an area of concern. Additionally the traffic noise could be an issue for some.
