Happy and rested
We were particularly impressed by the warmth of all the staff. So much friendliness – we felt completely at ease.
The wellness area with sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing. Our daughter was thrilled with the indoor and outdoor pools and was even allowed to go horseback riding. The breakfast and dinner were excellent.
The location is ideal for excursions to Sümeg Castle, the spectacular jousting tournaments, Lake Balaton, or Hévíz. In the evenings, the live music provided a nice way to wind down.
Thank you very much for the wonderful time – we will definitely be back!

Perfect place for families with children.
Friendly, and professional staff.
Lot of program where you can spend your free time, or have qctive relaxant time.
The staff have traditional customes, and they are really friendly.
Near to the hotel have traditional program with horses, where they show you a part of the Hungarian history.

Super buffet catering, low-quality wellness
The food is really great. The selection is plentiful, the service is fast.
What we couldn't ignore was the state of wellness...we really don't see the 4*superior state in it. Pieces of mosaic are missing from the mosaic coverings in several places, the white plastic water-collecting grid surrounding the pools is already browned and moldy in several places. In the same way, the grout is moldy in several places at the pools. In the pools, there was dirt all over the mosaic at the massage points, which could have been easily cleaned, but it was not, and interesting black-brown spots appeared on the floor around the nozzles, which otherwise did not work. Several elements of the water experience also did not work, e.g. the neck massager in the large pool on the ground floor, and the massage heads at the benches were also of low performance.
You could get to the saunas through the wellness bar/café, which wouldn't be a problem, but it was noticeably cooler in the bar, so we walked out of the pool area and walked into the saunas.
The bar itself is not cheap (850 HUF for a press), which would be understandable if we consider that we are in a wellness hotel, but the bar itself was a cool space even in our bathrobes, where we were reluctant to sit and relax.
Overall, unfortunately, we do not see the wellness as being of such a high standard as advertised.
