10/10 location. A few minutes from Parliament
Fabulous hotel. Close to all the monuments, especially the Parliament and the Danube. Very clean rooms and good breakfast. Definitely to return again. We are leaving delighted!

Mediocre hotel at best.
On arrival we were told we had to leave a 100 euro deposit which we knew nothing about and neither did a lot of other guests. The room was ok apart from having to go get some more key cards as the 3 they gave us didn't work The room was ok for a base however there was a lamp broke and the safe didn't work,when I told reception they said they would get them fixed ,never happened. Breakfast was continental and a basic one with not much choice. If going to Budapest again won't use this hotel.

The hotel is quite central but in a fairly quiet area. The rooms were normal, even if some things were poorly maintained, such as the furnishings or the view (the only window overlooked the hotel's internal courtyard). The hotel staff was not very welcoming at all. A deposit was requested for the towels, which is refunded at the end of the trip.

Hot room
I understand that Europe country do not keep their hotel rooms as cool as US hotels. We stayed in Italy before coming here. Our room as was hot and the AC was running like a fan. In fact, the hotel gave us a third hotel key just to keep the air circulating in the room while we are out. We paid extra for a 4 star hotel for the comfort and we did not get it. They claim to fix it and cannot switch room due to capacity. I am not normally rude, but I wake the hot room kept me awake, so I took my pillow and slept in the hotel lobby. The only accommodation they were willing to do was find an old fan to run in the room. I was on vacation and were miserable all day because we were tired. I know they were in a heat wave, but they are able to keep their lobby cool. In addition, while I was staying cool in the lobby, multiple people came down to report problems with hair dryers and hot water kettles.

Unfortunately in this extremely hot weather the efficiency of the AC is decreasing.
Even the systems operating in larger institutions are not prepared for such an extremely high outdoor temperature and cannot cool the rooms with the same efficiency, but we are trying to find a solution for these extraordinary situations in the future.
I would like to thank you once again for having chosen our hotel and we do hope that we can have the opportunity to host you again.

Establishment matches the description
Clean hotel and well located in the city center.
The descent to park the car with the elevator is challenging! But the team is there to guide you calmly and with a smile.
Above all, remember to have a small car, otherwise park on the street.
