Wonderful time at the Ikones Suites.

Perfect location for exploring Rethymnon. We had a lovely welcome and all of the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless with little extras like tote bag and accessories for the sun as well as wine and fruit. The dining area was on the top floor with gorgeous views of the sunsets in the evening. The restaurant had a wide selection of food and theme night but its was perfect.
I used the spa which was great and there was lots of treatments to choose from. My husband also used the gym.
We had a swim up pool room and they have a private area of the beach directly in front where you can get food and drink.

Not worth the money

We stayed here on our first holiday together and when we arrived the staff were rude and unwilling to help us. Due to being a young couple and wanting to explore the area around where we were staying, we asked the hotel staff about the area and the transport in the area, when done so they weren’t willing to help us and were disgusted by the fact we wanted to leave the hotel and beach area. Until we arrived we were fully unaware of the fact you had to pay €7 per day per person to be on the beach by the hotel as the hotel wasn’t the cheapest we assumed some things would be include, they weren’t. We ended up using the free part of the beach as thought this would be a waste of money. Another thing that we weren’t aware of was that the pool area was tiny, with limited sun beds and a quiet zone so if you want to go have any fun don’t stay here.
Overall, an alright location but staff were unfriendly, when staying here you are paying for the room and nothing else. We won’t be staying here again.

Overall ok

Thank you to Sophia in reception for her kindness and helpfulness. Staff members in the beach bar were so kind and hardworking, and the same applies to some of the staff members in the restaurant. Thank you all.
The room was clean and comfortable. We booked a room with a pool view, but it was actually a church. If one stood at the balcony and looked to their left, they could see the pool. So I am not sure that "pool view" was a totally accurate description. There was also a small room with a TV and sofa with no natural light- not nice at all. Breakfast was ok, and the food in the beach bar was good. Dinner was very disappointing. The beach is ok, and it is easy to walk to the town (about 30-35 minutes).

Melody spa was great!!

We had a wonderful experience at Melody Spa! From the very beginning, we had quick and pleasant communication with Nicol, our masseuse. She was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and relaxed right away.
My partner and I both had an amazing massage and truly enjoyed every moment of it. Nicol was professional, kind, and made sure we could completely relax and enjoy the experience.
Thank you so much, Nicol, for the lovely welcome and the wonderful massages. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back again! ❤️

Go Here!

The hotel is amazing. From the sea view at the restaurant to the quiet pool and clean private beach. We also had a massage at the spa which was amazing and very reasonably priced. I can confidently say as a fussy hotel stayer… ignore any negative review. The surrounding areas and restaurants amazing too. Highly recommend
