Can be done well for one night.

Value for money definitely fits here. The rooms are pleasantly large, as is the bathroom – you actually have room there and don’t have to sneak sideways past the shower. The decor is modern, but more in the category “practical-modern” than “design hotel”. But it's perfectly fine.
The hotel is very quiet, and the bed was comfy – so everything you need to sleep properly after a long day.
Breakfast is fine. Not a huge buffet miracle, but you get full. Pros: Egg dishes are made fresh. Small minus point: The breakfast room has no windows. Breakfast in the morning without natural light has a bit of a “business class bunker”.
I would skip the restaurant personally. Although reasonably priced, there is a strong culinary activity in the area of “fryer meets freezer”. For a beer in the evening, however, it is perfectly fine – they can.
Parking is perfectly solved and the location is really unbeatably more central can hardly be found in Westerstede.
Bottom line: For one night absolutely okay. Not a luxury hotel, but solid, quiet and practical – with small idiosyncrasies that you can see over with a twinkle in your eye.

Really pleasant stay

Very friendly staff and quiet accommodation. Comfortable beds, good wifi throughout the hotel. Everything clean and tidy. I've been here all week and haven't had a single problem. The staff also speaks English and was always helpful, even if there was a problem with the booking.com

Good place for overnight stay

compact family runned hotel in Westerstede centre. Rooms decoration - hard to comment, may somebody like that "redisigned" 80-ies walls... Really rich breakfast and friendly staff ready to help you

Great value hotel, excellent staff

The Ammerlander Hof is a small hotel in Westerstede, Lower Saxony situated just at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the town centre. I booked on the phone at got single rooms at €45 per night including a buffet breakfast. Check-in was quick and simple, The restaurant and bar areas are tastefully decorated with a good food and drink menu. Bedrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with satellite TV and free wi-fi. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Car parking is at the rear - plenty of spaces and free. Highly recommended for visiting the Ammerland area.

Kurzurlaub im Hotel

Chef Memmet Kurth hat uns schon im Bus herzlich begrüßt und willkommen geheißen und informiert betreffend Abendessen und Frühstück .
Am Ende des Urlaubs können wir sagen, wir waren super zufrieden, gute Zimmer, top Personal, wie eine Familie.
Essen reichlich und frisch und abends immer was anderes, also wir waren begeistert und können mit ganz ruhigem Gewissen dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen .Dankeschön für einen tollen Aufenthalt.
Besucher aus dem Harz.
