PLEASANT OVERNIGHT STAY IN TINY STEIGRA

I stayed in this 'motel' as a convenient break in a journey from the Harz area of Germany to the Czech Republic. Steigra is a pleasant village but nothing out of the ordinary - although it's handy for Querfurt and Naumberg.
I had a very well-fitted room, with ensuite facilities, WiFi, and breakfast, for a very reasonable 30 Euros. The only issue is that the motel isn't staffed - you have to ring to make a booking - and meals, drinks, etc - apart from breakfast - must be obtained elsewhere (e.g. the handy Gaststatte across the road).
It was a good breakfast, however - well up to the usual German standards - and a pleasant overnight stop. If I was making a similiar journey I would use it again.

Saubere und gepflegte Pension. Sehr nette Wirtin. Bin hier seit 2,5 Jahren berufsbedingt Stammgast und kann nur sagen: bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis weit und breit. Zimmer nach vorne sind nichts für Langschläfer. Zimmer nach hinten schön ruhig. Komme jede Woche gerne wieder.

Klein aber für den Preis gut

Waren wegen einer Feier in der Gegend und benötigten eine günstige Unterkunft.
Sind im 180 gelandet. Schönes kleines Motel alles recht einfach aber sauber und große Zimmer. Auch familiär geführt, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück (gegen Aufpreis) haben wir nicht genommen , aber bei anderen Gästen gesehen, sah auch gut aus.
