Wish I could give this site 10 STARS!

They say a good host make all the difference and you certainly get that here,the hosts are simply amazing and genuinely cant do enough for you,we are in our medium motorhome and the pitches are huge, our pitch was perfect with shade for the dogs and sun for the other half and that was all day.

Washing, this washed our clothes better than any we have used previously.
Showers are clean and not on a timer, lovely and hot or icy cold if you wish.

Then the site in general, its in a woodland area, idea for kids to go play or just have a wander alone or with your dog or dogs.
Its a magical place, it really is, we are on our way home from spending 4 weeks travelling and this is by far the best site we have stayed at.
We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 3, our dogs loved it, we spent ages walking around the site and into the woods with our dogs.
Kids welcome - we came end of May so the season is just starting, I can imagine this place will overrun with happy children and families.
Omg and they have chickens, little cute black pigs and goats, I mean, what's not to love.
I will miss our little walk to the village Bakery to get our fresh bread and tarts.
A truly breathtaking place to relax and wind down.
I always give 5* but this place is getting my first ever 10* We will be back and you have to visit ❤️

Beautiful campsite, highly recommended!

A great campsite. Spacious pitches in a beautiful wooded area. Every morning the bakery on site to buy delicious bread. Homemade pizza. A great pool to cool off. Sanitary is clean and tidy. Had a great holiday.

Slice of heaven in Chalandray.

Back again to this little slice of heaven in Central Fance. The hosts Henry and Kath are very warm and welcoming people. The pitches are a great size well spaced out, as not to feel overcrowded.
The pool is a decent size and always is a delight in the hot summer weather.
The site is well situated for larger towns like Parthenay or Poitiers.
In the village a Spar shop is well stocked and there are local eaterys.
If you want peace and quiet that can also be achieved. We will be visiting again soon to sample the lovely wood fired pizzas from Henry himself.

Perfect family run site!

Found this site as needed a stop over heading North. What a find it is! Wish we could have stayed longer and will when we return. Absolutely lovely hosts, pool, bar, pizzas …. One of our best nights of our holidays as so quiet and relaxing. Thank you! From the Clark Family.

Lovely site.

Had a great stay at this site - owners very friendly and helpful. Great sized pitch in wooded area - good dog walk. Site and facilities very clean. It was handy having a bar on site and the pizzas were some of the best we have tasted! Hopefully we'll be back for another visit sometime.
