A small Pension with a real soul
Tonight the restaurant on site was closed but close to the bistro Saint Anthony keeps all its promises....

The starter was succulent, the meat is very good and the dessert is magnificent.
We thank you for this great meal.

The Hôtel du Berry, an Institution.
The welcome is courteous and caring, the restaurant is magnificent and the service provided by the Owner is without expectations and worthy of the great French restaurants.
In addition the prices are very affordable. Starter, main course, cheese and dessert for less than 15 Euros.
The cuisine is refined, homemade using local products and the dressing is perfect. For my part, a hodgepodge of raw vegetables with minced snout, a Provençal-style Julienne, skipping the cheese because it's already full and a crumble.
The wine list presents a wide choice from all regions.
The Chef-Owner leaves his kitchen to come and thank you for your visit, collect your impression and greet you when you leave.
Going there will remain a ritual for us every time we stay in the region.

Absolutely beautiful meal and service
Started of with a fillou pastry encapsulating local goats cheese roundel with herbs and honey plus salad dressing;
The main course was a Tournedos de boeuf, the filet steak (great quality meat) was gorgeous and topped off with black peppercorns and sea salt, served with mashed potatoes and onions plus an intense dark sauce - YUMMY.
Then a platter of local cheeses accompanied with house red; my other half had a Rum Baba with an actual pipette on rum. She LOVED it.
Highly recommended...
