Enjoyed one short sleep at this hotel.
We emailed the hotel of our early morning arrival 2am and they replied with directions and a phone number for the complementary shuttle bus. We ended up being delayed by an hour due to lost luggage and there was no issue with the shuttle bus returning to collect us. We were upgraded to a suite and offered late checkout due to our member status, and we enjoyed a much-needed sleep in a quiet room. Our check-in was quick and friendly. There was so much storage space in the room. We highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was nice and checking out and in was smooth. The room had mold in the bathroom and it’s easy to see that the floor hasn’t been cleaned, as there were excess hair from the previous person.

Typical upscale airport hotel. Good Buffet breakfast. Parking is NOT free as they charged us 80 Egyptian Pounds to park for 1 hour to unload our baggage. Sign said 200EP ($4) to park overnight. Wifi is nearly useless - both in the lobby area and in our smallish room. Smoking allowed in the lobby area. Frequent free airport shuttle van very convenient.

Convenient airport stay with a comfortable room and excellent breakfast
We stayed at the Novotel Cairo Airport for one night after arriving in Cairo on a very early morning flight, and overall it was a very comfortable and convenient experience.
One aspect worth mentioning is the airport shuttle service. The hotel is only about 2 km from Cairo International Airport, making it an ideal choice for late arrivals or early departures. Before leaving home, I emailed the hotel to let them know we would be landing at 02:05 and would need the shuttle to reach the hotel for a check-in at around 3:00 am. They responded promptly and provided a phone number for a WhatsApp call or message, and advised that the airport customer service desk (in the terminal building) could contact the hotel on our behalf if needed.
After landing, I had already activated an eSIM, so I WhatsApp-called and the shuttle arrived shortly afterwards. I cannot say for certain whether it only came because I contacted the hotel, but another guest who boarded the shuttle told us he had been waiting for more than an hour. He was unaware that he may have needed to contact the hotel, and I do not think that should be necessary, especially since the shuttle is advertised as running every 30 minutes. This is probably the only area where the hotel could improve by making the shuttle process clearer for arriving guests.
We checked in at approximately 3:30 am and were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite (Room 3130). The suite overlooked the swimming pool and was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Although some of the furniture looked a little dated, everything was clean and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was well stocked with towels, the shower had excellent water pressure, and we had a very restful night's sleep.
Breakfast, which was included in our rate, exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was fresh and enjoyable. It was a great way to start our first morning in Egypt before checking out at midday.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. If you are looking for a comfortable airport hotel with good rooms, an excellent breakfast and a convenient location, the Novotel Cairo Airport is a solid choice. Just be aware of the shuttle arrangements, and if arriving late at night, it may be worthwhile to contact the hotel after landing to ensure the shuttle is on its way.

1. The staff where extremely unfriendly and rude.
2. The staff at reception had a dont care attitude towards clients.
3. The rooms and corridors smelled like feet!!
4. The hot water was not hot it was barely luke warm
5. I sent laundry and asked that it be delivered in the night on the same day, but I only got it the next morning(when I was due to fly out). Further my laundry was mixed with another rooms laundry.
6. When i called reception to complain instead of hearing my complaints they put me through to laundry department who dont understand english.
7. Staff dont know english.
8. We did not get any assistance from the bell boys on both our checking in and checkout
9. I booked 3 rooms with the hotel, I asked that the rooms be near the lifts and reception because my mother struggles to walk, but we received all 3 rooms far from the lifts and reception.
10. Your staffs attitude is pathetic.
11. I paid for a 4 star accommodation this was more like a 1 star.
12. We dont drink alcohol and when we ordered at the restuarant we were charged a fee because we didnt order any alcoholic drinks yet we ate there and ordered so many non alcoholic drinks. I found this charge to be ridiculous because i still ate there so it wasnt as if i didnt spend any money there. They also charged an entertainment fee which i didnt even watch while sitting and eating.
I am so so dissapointed with their service and as a member of their Accor group i dont think this service is acceptable!!!
