Great Holiday In Cavtat
Firstly, Cavtat is a beautiful, safe and friendly resort with super yachts in the bay and a promenade of nice restaurants, and Hotel Croatia is the best hotel in town. We had nice, modern rooms that were well-cleaned every day and the seaview over the bay was spectacular, especially at sunset. Yes, the pool was busy but we went in peak season so it is to be expected, and the staff brought loungers out if ever we needed them. The indoor pool is also nice. We stayed half board and the food was freshly cooked in front of us and everyone could find something they liked. As everyone has said, walking back up the hill from the beach to the hotel can be a challenge but there's not much the hotel can do about that, and we sometimes used the golf buggy if it was there. All the staff were great on reception, cleaning and the restaurant. Nothing to do with the hotel but it was near 40 degrees every day, high humidity so it was a constant challenge to keep up to date with the Factor 50 and Jungle Formula to prevent (all but one) moz bites. Catch the boat to Dubrovnik, experience the busy noisiness for a few hours and quickly get back to Cavtat!

Superb Hotel!!!
Wow what can I say about this place, list is endless…room was absolutely spotless, comfortable and modern, view onto the Adriatic Sea was priceless!!
Both indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic, breakfast was ok, bar areas was lovely and the view from the terrace to die for
Poolside snack bar was great food was lovely we had risotto and ravioli and a smash burger takeaway by the pool which was fabulous!!!
Staff were incredible couldn’t do enough for you so friendly, yes the steps up were hard going but the view is worth it and you have a buggy service which goes up and down all throughout the day it’s brilliant of you don’t want to make that trip!
The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and vast you can walk around and go to the two Bars they have down by the sea which are also brilliant! It’s a large hotel but never felt too busy, 100% going back I didn’t want to leave

The rooms have been renovated and are very nice, and the facilities are generally very good. The WiFi is terrible, it’s fine sitting in reception but barely worked in the room at all, that should be an easy fix. There aren’t enough beds at the pool and beaches for the number of rooms and despite the rules people still reserve them making it a pain. The golf carts down to town were a really good service and it’s near to lots of great restaurants, boat trips etc

Beautiful and picturesque stay! The stairs are good for the calves but if you have limited mobility then it might be too much.

Very good hotel, room service menu wasn’t the best but that’s really not end of the world a few times we asked for a wake up call and didn’t receive one, again not the end of the world but just things to mention otherwise we loved our stay and will be coming back!!
