We had an enjoyable stay at Fuzhou InterContinental. Housed in a standout high-rise, location’s convenient. Classic InterContinental experience—steady, reliable quality you’d expect anywhere. Our room was comfy, well-kept, just a touch of wear. Big thanks to Amy at reception, who kindly sorted a late check-out for us, super helpful. Everything largely matched the brand’s global standards with no major hiccups. Great choice for travelers wanting a familiar, solid hotel in Fuzhou. Definitely recommend for a hassle-free stay.

The room is not ultra-modern, you can feel that it is already "classical", but nothing wrong with that. Really clean, no smell of cigarettes (even in non-smoking rooms it can happen).
Really helpful staff. Check in very fast and polite.
Close to the metro station.

The location was nice but the subway requires quite a lot of steps to go down, might be difficult with luggage. The room had a bit of a moldy smell but I've read that this problem extends to every other hotel in Fuzhou. Nice view of the park from the top.

Dear valued guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and the park view from our high floors. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the subway access and the musty odor you noticed in the room.Regarding the subway steps, we recommend using our luggage assistance service—our concierge team is always happy to help with heavy bags. As for the humidity-related smell, we have implemented enhanced dehumidification and deep-cleaning protocols to ensure a fresher environment for every guest. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back soon for an even better stay.
