Wells Gray Provincial Paradise ❤️

***Must Visit*** After searching for a unique and special getaway we stumbled upon Cedar Haven Resort- a beautiful tribute to luxury camping from days long past.
Our slice of heaven was equipped with an all-season canvas tent, plush comfy bed for peaceful sleeps, coffee caddy and most relaxing Adirondack chairs for a country getaway! Our quaint cabin offered delightful queen bed, full bathroom and kitchen along with spacious den all fit for honeymooners, travelers or anyone looking to focus on ease and comfort while in paradise. Sauna, fire pit, bbq add to the special touches. Showpiece: beautifully appointed greenspace to sit and soak in those epic starry nights! True Dark Sky preserve at the doorstep of Wells Gray Provincial Paradise!
Our stay was one of the most relaxing, unwinding and recharging places we have ever stayed at! We have stayed at thousands of hotels, cabins, resorts in Canada/US but there is something very special about Cedar Haven. I think it’s the genuine hospitality, country charm and good hearted owners making this one of our new favourites!

Fabulous stay

We had a great stay in one of the Luxury Tents. The tents are spacious, clean, cosy without losing a tent spirit! The outdoor kitchen is neatly equipped, there was everything we needed to cool in the evening.
The shared showers are super clean and heated, and the sauna was the cherry on top and a great ending to a long day in the parc!
The staff was so nice aswell, we really enjoyed every second from our stay in Cedar Haven and if we get the opportunity, we’ll be back!

Outstanding setting!

Cedar Haven is tucked away about 5mins drive from Clearwater - and well worth it. It is a small collection of basic cabins and tents in a beautiful setting. Whilst the cabin was basic it was clean and functional and felt ‘cosy’ with everything you need (good bathroom amenities, fully stocked kitchen, heating etc) - note there is no TV (which is a good thing).
The outside is the forte at this accommodation with lovely gardens, fire pit, bbq, plenty of seating and a sauna - overall a great area for kids to run around in.
It was self check in and check out - which was fine, but I would have welcomed some information about the site, area etc just to help us settle in.

Idyllic place to enjoy the beauty of Canada

We stayed in one of the cabins during our family vacation (with two teens). The place is really awesome! It's very quiet and the atmosphere is really idyllic. The cabins are well equipped and the big garden is great to play with kids or just to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Staff was very friendly during check-in and parking lots were available (as well as Wi-Fi in case you're worried).
