Excellent for its price!
We`ve been there summer 2012 last time (twice in total) and used only the pools and the restaurant. We were sleeping elsewhere.
It was amazing vacation having these pools and the good food every single day for 5 days!
The weather in Velingrad was sunny as always, hot and the kids went crazy - almost weren`t coming out of the water... Every day - lunch and dinner at the outside area of the restaurant facing the pools. Late in the evenings we were soaking in the small circle hot mineral pool, because the air was getting cool.
Every late evening we were leaving these pools with sorrow and waiting impatiently for the next day to come.
We will go again this summer for sure!
P.S. We would accommodate at the hotel if we haven`t had another place to sleep - at friend`s of ours. We`ve seen the rooms - cheap, but clean and not so small as you may expect by the price.

Basic hotel but ok if not too fussy
Big swimming pool need cleaning on daily basis.
This is a very basic old hotel with a little bit done here and there in regards of renovation.Our room was pleasant, do not expect much.If you are prepared to compromise on facilities and you are not very fussy than this may be ok place.Staff is friendly, service in restaurant slow, be prepared to wait so patience needed.Food is Ok, the cooked meals from the lunch menu are good.Swimming pool is nice size but could be more looked after in order of cleanliness.The small hot water pool is better.Walking distance to centre is 10 min and is fine.

Just Awful
The manager of the hotel is ignorant and rude. Customers are not allowed to provide feedback(if not positive). All feedback is deleted from their facebook page.
Hotel Vitosha is not a welcome place for people with disabilities. They break the Law and don't allow service dogs to come in!
