The rooms I had (full size) were compact but practical. I can’t speak to what the other rooms were like but the room was great for me and one other to sleep and lounge in since we spent most time out in the city, just don’t count on space to jump around or anything. The staff was AMAZING and accommodating during the historic heatwave. I was originally put on the top floor and the A/C was struggling to do anything above the 2nd or 3rd floor beyond keeping it from absolutely roasting everyone. The elevator was out and while they count four floors it was closer to 8 floors since each floor had to levels. First night was difficult because it was so hot and humid even with the A/C going full power, so I asked the front desk if there was anything they might be done since I have health issues and couldn’t utilize the medical equipment I need to sleep due to the heat. They worked it out that they would move me to a lower floor and the rest of the stay was lovely. WiFi was sufficient for streaming but nothing heavy duty.

Unpleasant- avoid

Unpleasant - avoid. They have a 'smart check in' which means hotel is totally unmanned. and you enter with a code. We had not been provided with a code. We waited 20 mins to get through to someone on a phone number pinned to the door. We had paid for breakfast but there is no breakfast (the bar next door, where i think breakfast was meant to be, says they are 'no longer associated with the hotel'). The carpets are grubby, there was no remote to operate TV in our room, lift out of order (and room on 4th floor up 8 flights of narrow stairs), safe box out of order, air con not working. Is not even cheap, but actually felt unsafe, would never return.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

I would avoid this hotel at all costs.
Our room was situated directly above the hotel bar. On the night of our stay, the hotel hosted an event that started at midnight to watch Brazil in the World Cup. The music and partying continued until the early hours of the morning, making it impossible to sleep. We got very little rest.
The following day, I raised the issue with reception. Instead of dealing with it, I was repeatedly told to come back later after the receptionist had spoken to management.
Eventually, management agreed to a partial refund of €150 as compensation for the disruption. However, despite multiple phone calls and promises, they have made no attempt to process the refund.
The lack of consideration for guests, combined with the poor customer service and failure to honour their agreed refund, has made this one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend others look elsewhere.

This could have been a brilliant hotel, but there were a lot of niggly issues. Our hot water wasn't working to start with, a/c never worked. Breakfast was badly organised and the staff member in charge spent more time outside talking to the bin men and smoking than dealing with guests. We had to ask for things all the time, like spoons, bowls, milk etc. At one point we were told that there were no small spoons available!
The bath was a health and safety issue: when the shower was on, there was no way to stop the water coming out of the tap, which was on the side of the bath rather than the end, so the hot water was coming out on our feet.
To be fair, the room itself was lovely, if too hot as we were on the top floor with just skylights. It's in a great location close to the city centre. The issues we had were relatively minor and didn't really detract much from our enjoyment of the holiday.
