Pure vacation

We spent our summer vacation there and I must say that it was a wonderful relaxation for us. The staff was very warm and the food was a hit. Very varied and very delicious. We liked the hotel manager's mother the best. She is simply part of it. Every evening, she very warmly explained the buffet to us and also helped with choosing the tasteful dishes. A special thanks also goes to the kitchen staff and the service. We can 100% recommend this family-run hotel. Thanks again for the lovely stay. Best regards from the Buchda family.

Excellent hotel

We have experienced the hotel as excellent!!
Friendly owner/staff.
Every morning/evening buffet with delicious food. A terrace where you can eat. Highly recommended!

Shocking lack of hospitality, only interested in money

My experience with this hotel was nothing short of bad and the service was truly terrible.
While skiing I fell and lost the hotel key. When I returned to the hotel I immediately reported this honestly. The owner’s reaction was shocking: instead of asking me once how I was after the fall, he repeatedly started saying: “This is very bad!!”. There was zero interest in my welfare. The only thing he was directly concerned with was how to recover costs from me.
The lost key was then charged €120 without any nuance — an absurdly high amount.
As if that wasn’t enough, my fellow traveler also slumped through a wooden chair during our stay while just sitting quietly on it. The chair simply broke in half under him. Again, there was no decent response: there was no question of what had happened, no hearing, and not even a question of whether he might have had any complaints from the fall. The next day there was simply an €80 bill for the broken chair.
What is particularly striking here is the complete lack of hospitality, empathy and professionalism. Instead of treating a guest who returns after a fall with any care or understanding, the owner seems only interested in presenting bills as soon as possible. The service is chilly, unfriendly and totally unguest-oriented.
Absolutely not a place where you feel welcome as a guest.

We have enjoyed 14 days of vacation and for that we would like to thank Fam. Kröll, as well as all her employees, very warmly.
