Stay clear of Corion Bay Motel.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONOT, REPEAT DONOT stay at Corio Bay Motel. It is not fit for purpose and is a risk to any occupants health and safety.
Filthy does not even describe the grounds of this dump with its rooms past any chance of salvation.
Dirty worn out carpet, furniture that could have been retrieved from the dump. Hair clogged bathroom drain, dusty and l shabby is being kind.
Power point hanging dangerously off the wall.
The million and one cigarette buttes littering outside blend in with all the other debris.
It should be closed down.
The managers need arresting.
Their website photos ARE MOT of this motel.
I wouldn’t send my pet rat to stay there.

Cheap room, so don't expect much.

You get what you pay for. Stayed here due to walking distance to an event, so location great for us. Woman at reception looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there. Room small, but that was ok as we weren't in it much. Carpet had cigarette marks all over it. No remote for the tv. No extra blanket so bed was freezing. Small fan heater did nothing to keep the room warm during the night. Bed was at least clean and comfortable.

Untidy and uncomfortable place if your fussy about cleanliness.
Nice in photo but far uncomftable in actual
Broken doors and had it just taped, thus giving unsafe feeling

Disgusted

Very upsetting experience. Canceled a booking over the phone when I made the booking online. Payed the cancellation fee, received invoice showing the booking was cancelled. When booking date came, was charged for the room which was cancelled. Have sent emails and have tried contacting them by phone, leaving messages without any reply. They are not picking up their office phone or contacting me to resolve the issue of refunding the room cost. They need to be reported but don't know which authority to report too of the theft of the room booking fee. Disgusted in their operation.

Get what you pay for

Look it’s cheap and I booked last minute cos I wanted somewhere close to the Spirit Terminal but from my first glance at the lackluster reception area I knew to keep my expectations low. Room door wasn’t easy to unlock, room was small and I regret looking under the bed. My biggest issue was the ineffectiveness of insulation and curtains/blinds. Room was too bright especially light seeping in from bathroom. Worse was the noise, besides every truck traveling down the Princess I could hear my neighbour’s phone vibrate with each message.
Good things though; bed was comfortable and bathroom had been recently re-tiled
Question I ask myself now is, why did the other 2 cars in the car park choose to park alongside my vehicle when they had every other car space available? Were they staying in those rooms or was it to reduce the chance of their car being broken in to, I’m not sure.
