Great experiences

One of the beautiful homestays, clean food, experience that is very worthy for you to come here to stay. Impressed with the space of Opal house, if I have the opportunity to return, I will still choose to stay here. With a central location in the village, it is convenient to move to places here, everything creates a comfortable feeling for visitors, I feel like I am at home. The homestay's host family is very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and hospitable. The above are reviews of my own experience after coming and staying here...amazing.

Best for peace-seekers

I didn't expect much when I first came here because this house was quite far from the center and deep inside the village. BUT, that was a big surprise when I walked inside to check every part of the house. It was extremely clean, cozy and tidy. The yellow rice field was all surrounding. More than that, this house gave me the feeling of peace and comfort. There were everything I need to enjoy my stay. The small front garden was the good place to drink coffee while enjoying some music.
There are some bars, cafe, restaurants near the house that we can easily walk to. The Wild Beast bar, which took 3-minute walk, offered very good live music, probably only weekend.
Highly recommend for someone who wants to find the quite place to stay. For me, it would be one of the best experience in my traveling life.
Not to mention, the owner, I guess, was very helpful that made our stay more worthy.

Truly a piece of gem!

Oh my goodness! Just like its name, this place is the perfect gem for the vacation getaway! "Wow" is literally the word uttered when we first saw the place.
It has a very unique contemporary design while still maintains the antique vibe that is the heart and soul of the culture in Sapa. Everything is beautifully and cooly hand- crafted with such details that you feel like the whole sapa is encapsulated neatly in this place. The place is big enough to easily accommodate 15 people and if you dont mind sleeping on the floor, you can actually fit 20-30 people with ease. This homestay is extreme clean with two bathrooms with hot water and all amenities that you can find at a 5 star hotel. The beds are comfortable with heatable mattresses, thick and comfy blankets. The patio has a lot of cute hanging out spots surrounding a little pond that looks out to the green moutaneous hill. It's just perfect to be sitting outside or inside because you can enjoy the view from anywhere in the house. Did I mention that they have blazing fast free wifi, kitchenware and even complementary instant noodles and ingredients for guests?!?
The price is very cheap. We rented the whole place for $150. If you have a group of 15-20 people, it will cost you less than $10 each lol. Of course you can rent a small room with access to all other areas for $30/night and $50 for a bigger one. This is a steal considering we live in the states and $30 will get us half a motel 6, yes you are right half a motel 6!!!
In short, we love this place and it will for sure be our go to place when we visit Sapa again. Also the host is super nice and will give you info on things to do when you stay there. Trust me stay here and you wont be disappointed!!

Good place, nice people

The house is clean and very cool :D The host is kind, she takes care us very well. There is a litlle beautiful garden in front of the house where we can take photo or just relax with a cup of tea :D
The house is near La Dao Spa and there is a bar in front of this house. You can walk around in the afternoon.

Good place for team building

My company organized the company trip in Sapa and chose Opal House as a place to stay. The homestay had big courtyard for outdoor BBQ party. The rooms were clean and tidy. The owner was really helpful and friendly. I definitely come back again with my family.
