Disappointing compared to last time.

The VIP room had an impressive view of the river and the room was beautiful and clean. The first couple days we were there it seemed empty at the hotel and they only offered one option for breakfast which wasn’t very good. When more people were at the hotel there was a small buffet option but it wasn’t great. We asked for laundry services but they tried to charge us 7 times what it would cost for us take it to an outside laundry service only a 5 minute walk from the hotel (so that is what we did). The service at the hotel seems to have declined from what it was years ago. In 2011, I stayed at the hotel for a couple weeks and it was great. I was disappointed this time. The hotel seemed empty and lonely now… even when more people were there. Also, despite being in a non-smoking room, we could smell a lot of cigarette smoke for two of the nights. That was not enjoyable.

Nice hotel, cheap price.

The hotel has a beautiful architecture, ancient curved roofs around the block. Room is large enough and clean. The location is convenient for visitors to visit sights, museums, markets, 10 minutes by motorbike from the coast. Reception is very polite, enthusiastic to guide visitors. Very satisfied with this hotel and will recommend to friends.

Interesting place

Looks good from the outside, reception - struggled with english, couldn't provide a map of the area. The room was good except for the leaking tap in the bathroom and broken door handle on the bathroom. Bed was good. Will hold your passport until you leave (didn't like the photocopy we gave them) The river stunk at low tide (lots of rubbish) For the money we paid it was value. The restaurant was WAY overpriced and not the best. Staff seemed to almost be scared of foreigners was odd.

back to the old time

The hotel is located in central of Phan Thiet city. It takes few steps to Phan Thiet market and about an hour by bike to go around the city. The hotel impresses guests by wooden decoration. Room is fine with many old facilities and sometimes it is nostalgic to me, bring me to the time when I lived with my grandparents.
Breakfast is not variety, just 5 or 6 kind of foods on the long tables. not well-organized in the restaurant space.
