Good room and location but upgrade was disappointing
The room was fine and the location too, everything looks clean and new. As a Premium member, I'm normally used to better upgrades from Radisson, although the war situation in Odesa must have something to do with that. The bathroom had a bath-shower combination; a pity there was no separate shower. The glass wall only covers two-thirds of the bath, which makes getting in awkward. The lady at the reception — her name I unfortunately forgot — was very friendly and helpful at check-in.

Regular review
All was fine. I have nothing to complaing about. Its a strong decision to choose radisson hotels if you want real comfort. Not a value option, but as i mentioned - its a comfort option. Just which i wanted.

The spirit of Christmas in the heart of the City
The Radisson's location and consignare service made my Christmas stay in Odesa such a pleasurable experience. From check-in to check-out every moment in the hotel was professional and elegant. Walking distance to everything!

Breakfast
Booking application was not working, we booked, paid, got a reservation code, but hotel didn’t get any information about it.
We stayed there for 2 nights and having breakfast every time the waiters kept coming and saying breakfast was not paid! it turned out - It Was!

Superb location and elegant interiors
This hotel has recently gone under a massive transformation from what was the Hotel Milano to become branded as a Radisson. It is a small (less than 100 room hotel) directly in the city centre in Odessa. You could not ask for a better location!
Unfortunately check-in was a rather poor experience courtesy of Julia who doesn't seem to understand the concept of hospitality and approached everything with arrogance and a very odd sense of humour. Of course it takes time for a staff team to be developed under a brand and Julia certainly had lots of training needs.
However, despite an initial poor experience I must say the rooms are very tasteful, very clean - though attention to detail is needed for things to be refilled. No towels to begin with didn't bode well either but after a discussion with Olga the GM everything was sorted.
She has a strong vision from the hotel, it is very elegant, the check-in area, courtyard and restaurant.She knows the Radisson brand well and knows what visitors expect and I'm sure this will become a leading hotel in Odessa. She took great care to check in with me a few times and offered a late check out which we really appreciated given an evening flight.
Significant investment has been made, the hotel really looks nothing like its former days judging by old photos. The location is amazing, good wifi and good A/C. Every other member of staff (apart from Julia) was accommodating and friendly. The food and drinks in the restaurant including breakfast and other meals were good quality, prices were fair.
My last observation was that I don't think the beds were new. It was a shame not to replace them given that everything else is new. I would definitely return but would do my best to avoid Julia...
